Now your printer will print in a funny way, and you will need to buy a new cassette to fix it. Is it cheap? Actually it's more expensive.
Mistakes were done here the green/blue tube was exposed to light. The blades might get damaged. You might actually get hurt...
My solution: Find toner filler exit and entrance, remove first all old toner from exit, and fill in trough entrance. No disassembly is needed. You will need to buy chips from ali. At least 5 of them as printer stores at least 5 last used chips. Don't throw away old chips as you might use them again.

Otherwise ink level is not showing full
