Saw his apprentice, best friend, and brother fall to the Dark side.
Had his whole world and way of life fall.
Had to fight his brother and almost killed him.
Had to live alone in exile watching over his brother's son from a distance.

He never lost faith. Not once
A true Jedi
Even when he killed Maul you could see the emotions of losing the one last real connection he had with someone.
Despite how heavy his balls are, he never or ever been fallen to the Darkside.

This show is going to be something truly special. for me, it’s releasing on the last day of what has been a incredibly hard and stressful school year. I genuinely cannot wait to watch this with my dad on may 27th and get transported to a galaxy far far away…
I'm not gonna put it so high in hype, but mostly to see Obi-Wan Kenobi again. Having low expectations for the story makes it better in the long run. I ended up loving Book of Boba Fett and Mandalorian.

Obi-Wan is one of if not the most tragic characters in Star Wars. He lost everything except his purpose and a belief that a New Hope would emerge in the son of the man he failed.

I've always liked Obi Wan's character since I was a kid and now I think I know why. He embodies hope and continuing onwards even through the darkest days.
This was amazing! It brought tears to my eyes thinking of my father, who introduced me, his daughter, to this wonderful world when I was 5 years old. He died in 1995. I’m 42 years old now. I wish he could have seen this. I’ve been carrying on the love of Star Wars with my 2 sons. This music will always fill me with nostalgia and love. Thank you so very much Samuel! Holy crap I just got so many chills from this. Especially when that version of the theme kicks in at 1:40 and earlier when we had the choir, Duel of the Fates, and the force theme layered over each other. This is a true masterpiece.

My bro lost everything. His love got killed before his eyes, his brother/son betrayed him, his family got destroyed.... he was going trough so much suffering and pain. Even his own series was about a black women and a little girl instead of him.... and yet... he never turned to the dark side. Kenobi is the definition of a "true jedi"

It’s hard to explain the impact this franchise has on my heart.
Your renditions remind me why i fell in love with star wars. I dont much care for the new installments by disney. But i remember how the ot and pt made me realise what a hero's journey was supposed to look like, from the ot especially. May the force be with you, always.

if sometime in the future we will be getting not a trash tier SW trilogy, this transition on 1:38 could be a really powerfull moment, and also new in a way that it is respecting J. Williams legacy but offers something modern, but in a good way, this tribute just fills me with hope. This whole track also really gives me vibes of the game's ost called IXION, simmilar moves like choir with BWAA drops with drums etc, this is a great modern style suite, just great

I actually have a really cool story too tell. One of my teachers is a huge Star Wars fan, and he was recently diagnosed with cancer. So on may the 4th we all dressed up in Star Wars theme things (I was in a Jedi robe). We made cards for him, canceled his classes so he could watch a new hope in the gym, and the hole thing was a fun raiser for him. It was a great may the 4th for everyone that day. So even though this is a bit late, MAY THE FORTH BE WITH YOU…..always
