Mine smoked off last Week, was Brand New. Died in action - on its second mission, in the Age of four weeks! Was a very nice tool, really liked it. However, the BLC is the big big problem with this machine because the motor protection intervenes too early under load and switches the motor off. Where the old Standard-Motorized Machine sank the screws completely into the wood - the new model has long since given up protecting the stupid BL Motor...what a Shame! Although the new brushless screwdriver has nominally even slightly more torque than the old X12V screwdriver (PBSA 12 C2 - green, not brushless), it cannot compete with the old screwdriver in terms of power output and overload protection. Finally, the Machine confirmed my Theory, the motor controller failed and got fried when the machine switched off again due to overload.... So, rest in pieces ... useless thing ....or whatever its name was. :-) I returned my fried screwdriver to Lidl just yesterday and exchanged it for the new brushless X12V PPFBSA-A1 A Cordless Drill Grinder blablabla Multitool-thing. And again, im pretty happy with the new BL thing, it has a lot of juice and hopefully lasts longer than its big brother... Ok ! Have Fun Cheers

as always, i am not so rich to be Parkside's beta tester. I will wait for revisions.
I have used mine a few times, so far so good. I have also just got the X12V PPFBSA-A1, will try that also.
There is already a newer model that gas a removable chuck.
