We played Fortnite, Asphalt 9 and Modern Combat 5 on both phones to compare things like gameplay smoothness, speaker quality, notch and camera cutout differences, graphics quality, heat output, and battery life.

Asphalt 9 runs at 60 fps on iPhone but at 30 fps on S10. Developers should make these 60 fps settings available on Android flagships as the hardware is capable enough.
Exactly, it’s not androids fault. The gpu has more than enough power to run these games more smoothly.
The gpu on the s10 is almost 2 times more powerful than the one on the iphone
3DMark slingshot, open gl es 3.0 on both phones, screen resolution 1920 X 1080p on both phone, iphone score 4060, galaxy s10+ 7314. Slingshot make the test more fair beacus both phone runs the same test with the same api at the same resolution and like you can see the adreno gpu is a lot more powerful so yes, asphalt 9 can run at 60 fps with no problems and with better optimization fornite can run at 60 fps with not frame drops.

Dont talk about geekbench compu test, that test is completely in the background so theres no real stress to the gpu.

Even if fortnite itself doesn't change to fullscreen you go into settings, display, fullscreen apps and then change fortnite from auto to fullscreen and it will use the whole display

@@Leeanardis I got an Galaxy S8+, and now iPhone XS Max 512GB - I had 60GB on the Samsung though but my memory had ran out dry because of the photos and videos ive stored but did not want to delete them, so I had to go and get hold of an iPhone again =(.

I was reaaaallllly wanting one but found that the new snapdragon 855 and 6gb of ram on the lg g8 was a better buy for cheaper... only better in performance and specs not so much maybe size and design and screen although the lg g8 oled is awesome.. but it’s just my luck I got an open box new g8 but the screen was looking pixelated and just strange .still amazing but text looked grainy and just not sharp it was really freaking strange I found that you can turn the sharpness up at all in the display color tweaking setting or it would get worse, unlike the g7 that lcd was and is razor sharp and you could make it even sharper .. not so on the g8 and I also discover extreme light bleed all around the phone frommwhere the screen meets the mid frame of the phone.. you could just about see inside and up under the display at the right angles ... it must have been a refurbished and was not done right... so sadly the steal of a deal I got on it was useless and I having to send it back now... i was gonna get a s10e for under 300 as there priced close to the g8... if you have anything but Verizon you can find lg g8 for as low as 200! Verizon ofcourse versions are 250 to 300 depending on condition which is still a steal.. note 9 starts at around 300.. I now under duress and because everyone around me has one ended up getting a iPhone XR which I feel stupid for cuz the display is junk technically I just want a phone that works and has a good camera ... I have health issues and contrary to what fanboys say android does lag after awhile especially if you turn off or disable a lot of apps that run in the background ..I don’t know about SD855 with 6gb of ram or more of they’ll suffer the same but the lg g8 out the box is amazing! To bad for the screen issue man the cameras on that phone are insane.lts the Best Buy period for flagship .. prob gonna keep my g7 and use the XR.as I have a Mac and a iPad .. just makes sense ...

Long reason
I have been on the note series until the xs Max came out. I will tell you this. You will lose split screen. You will lose picture in picture and customizing. Plus extra features like the edge swipe and s pen if you’re with notes. But look at it this way. Your phone gets polished updates so if you ever had issues of freezing or the black screen freeze which I had on my notes. Apple will fix it. You don’t have to worry about crashing apps and as much viruses because of the closed off system. Also better privacy. What I look at is this. You buy a device that more reliable. That is build to last and polished so yoU won’t have to spend more money in 2-3 years on upgrades. Features like split screen can always be added. Would you like rushed products or polished?
As for my self as a hard core gamer. iOS is just better for gameing. Android has that freedom though. But if apple adds spilt screen and pip. I think I will be fully happy with iOS.

Idk if it was said but on the S10 you can go to settings > display > full screen apps and enable full screen on Fortnite. It looks awesome, some games come defaulted in full screen however Fortnite has not been officially optimized yet, but it works still

If you want full screen on any game on s10 go to phone settings and display and full screen app and change it from auto to full

If it's preference then I guess you rebelling makes no sense, as it's personal preference if someone thinks iPhone sounds better or if someone thinks Samsung is better. Personally, I think iPhones sound nicer.
In my view, quality sound is a lot more important than loudness. I don't have my phone at max loudness very often at all, and that's coming from an iPhone SE which is far from the loudest phone out there. Not really, the first 2 games have framerate issues (fortnite isnt optimized yet and asphalt is locked at 30fps for Android) the third game looked and played just as smooth and looked just as good on both phones even the person on the video said the same.

My iPhone 5s can get 40-50fps on a multiplayer game but comparing it to a 5 year old android phone they get around 20-25

H lol what is your level of knowledge about RAMs? do you even know what RAM stands for? gaming does require proper RAM management bub. game is loaded in the SSD but after loading the game it needs to store the retrieved data temporarily in fast memory so it can access as quick as possible to be used in real time. if the RAM management is poor the game won’t be running smoother. it will lag. graphics is another story. first educate yourself and then talk shit to others bub.

i use both android and iOS ...the thing is my main iOS device currently is an iPad pro 11" with its A12x bionic chip....and I see the frame drops all the time...i really envy people who say, they don't see any!
in general...i think iOS is very slightly better (i see like 2frame drops/week more on Android, literally), but the games themselves are kinda in different level on iOS tbh. like Asphalt doesn't even have 60fps on Android(right???) but iPad pro gets really hot....so much that i feel like having to stop every now and then, don't know why! i Haven't tried iPhone Xs max though, might be different!
You should really service your iPad pro, mine runs fantastic, no frame drops except when WiFi is slow, and mine gets a little warm but way better thermal management than a phone, try giving to the nearest Apple service center
@@kavinsuresh5468 already have, everything runs normaly, my ipad actually scores around 19000 on geekbench Multicore which shows that i keep it clean...there is apparently the Apple effect, preventing some people from seeing the reality on Apple products...good for them i guess, but gives Apple the sense of security, so they launch ipads w/o usb c or 2nd gen support pencil in 2019, which is obviously bad for real users...
But yea...good for you! My iPad has been tested too many times at this point by apple store, they even gave me a new iPad and a new pencil, and their last word: works as intended!

Games were never properly optimized for android yet devs wants us to pay for their in game items.
I think its hard for devs to optimise android games because of the large variety of android phones..
I don't know but I feel like iPhone's runs warm quickly and the screen dims after that, but on Galaxy it wasn't the case at all, it feels cooler to the touch and consistent fps wise
S10 has a lot of FPS Drops and lags in area's with a lot of things to load while the iPhone stays smooth and no frame drops, also that screen dimming is some weird glitch because it only happens in Fortnite.

Go to your phone settings and search for full screen you can see every app on this phone in full screen if you like by default it's off no need to wait from the app developers for full screen.🙉

S10+ is powerful, it's just that android doesn't support 60fps on some games. Android should make it compatible. Or is it the game developer's fault for not adding a setting for 60fps mode?

The dimming of the display has been introduced with OLED displays once it reaches a certain temperature. That will also happen to the S10+ once it heats up. You will experience that mainly outside during hot temperatures and direct sunlight exposure. Also 80% are different nits on the display as the S10+ is a lot brighter
I actually turned the S10 down a bit to match the XS Max. (Used zebra stripes on camera to match them accurately)
No i tested both phones and the xs max is brighter than s10 plus , test it yourself :) theres not 1200nits on s10 i didnt see that
Apparently, you have to turn on High-Performance mode on the S10 to make it brighter. Pretty annoying.
Double G it will only get to 1,200 nits outside in the sunlight. My XSMAX looks dimmer outside then the S10+

Game developers have to update their games for more than one android phone so is much harder, S10 is new they will have to optimize their games for it.
Apple is just few phones so it's much easier they can keep focusing to develop for iPhone6,7,810,10xmax, its it's much easier for developers.
With Android is so much phones you can talk about LG,Samsung, you name it.
So it's much harder for them to optimize games for all these phones.

If you love playing high resolution games in phone, so buy an iPhone, but if you like playing the games on laptop (bigger screen) so buy windows laptop.

What every reviewer forgets to mention is heat. Yes the xs max runs smoother BUT it has no cooling like the s10+ vapor chamber. Heat will = lag. The s10+ can cool off gaming, the iPhone cannot. I’ve had both and I’m easily going back to s10+ due to heat on my xs max throttling me making it useless gaming. I want a cooler phone. Even if apps aren’t optimized nobody likes to hold a hot phone. Not to mention after you game for 2 hours you’ll be sitting on your charger for 2 hours on the iPhone rather than 30 mins on the s10+ unless you spend another 60$ for a fast charger for the iPhone. Easily s10+.
