Honest Review: Sedici and Spidi Jackets, Sidi Boots

New Gear! My Sedici jacket had a zipper fail during my last big trip making me concerned about its durability to protect me in a crash. It also hasn't kept me warm during colder weather, so I acquired a Spidi all-season jacket in addition to some Sidi boots to replace my older, worn out boots. Both items were a clear step up in quality, although there are bits about the Sedici jacket that are still better in my opinion, such as the back protector pocket. The Spidi jacket has definitely widened my range of comfortable riding temperatures.

Thank you for this post. Really nice gear and you definitely made great choices! On another topic, I am curious to know if you use a bike cover for your Versys 650 and if so, which brand and size is it? I have a similar sized bike with a top box and am in the market for a cover. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I keep my bike in the garage, but when I'm out and about I haven't ever covered it. Probably would be nice, though, to give longer life to the seat and rubber components.
