ユーロ5認証のものは音量が純正程度です。
db-killer無しでは音量が大き過ぎなので、少し口径の大きいバッフルを装着してみました。

The Euro 5 certified ones are about stock in volume.
Without the db-killer, the volume is too loud, so I installed a baffle with a slightly larger bore.

that is a ridiculously pleasant sound! and none of it seems aggressively or annoyingly loud, even with the DB killer out!
Can I ask if there was any sort of tuning done to the bike to support the exhaust?
I think it is due to the performance of the camera that the sound is not too loud.
If I ride without the db-killer, my ears will be bawling for a while. So like after a concert . lol
As a new owner of a zard exhaust, it’s violently loud without a DB killer.
I’m currently actively trying to purchase one 😅

2016年以降の新型車は純正触媒を使用していないものは車検NGだそうです(JMCA認定を受けたフルエキは除く)。
残念ながらトライデントはユーロ5のものでも車検時にノーマルに戻さなきゃなりません😅
Thanks for the video. I am planning on getting the Homologated Euro 5 version with baffles in, how does it sound compared to stock? Much louder? I don't want my exhaust to be too loud..
I think the Euro5 homologated version is about as loud as stock. The sound quality is very pleasant with a little more bass. I think it is a good choice.
Hey, how did you deal with the snap ring to remove and especially put back the dbkiller? I managed to remove the race dbkiller and trying to put in the euro 5 one but I'm struggling big time.

It is easy to remove but may need some tricks to install. Sometimes I can do it easily and sometimes it is difficult.
I think it works better if you use snap ring pliers to push in the side to be grabbed first.

I purchased an euto5 certified zard that had the dbkiller spot welded on but was easy to remove.
It is a two step process. First, remove the snap ring that holds the dbkiller in place.
Next, grab the dbkiller with a pair of pliers and shake it up and down, side to side.
In my case, I was able to remove it without much effort.
Did you have to remap the motor or did the 660 learn on its own?
I don't remap it.
So the sound euro 5 and racing with db killer in is the same?
The volume is very different between the Euro 5 version and the racing baffle version.

The length and caliber of the dbkiller are different.

I found it outside of japan. I don't know if they can be purchased from your country.

Sorry, I don't know the details of this item, I bought it from a store in Japan.
I think it is the same one that is installed on the part number "ZPTH 096SKR" which is not euro5 homologated
@@mae_funrider I contacted zard and they tell me that on the euro5 version you can't remove the db killer…
@@julienfontao5761 Zard is right, the euro5 version of dbkiller is welded. However, it was only a small amount of welding, so I was able to easily remove it by simply grabbing it with pliers and shaking it.
Is the sound much better with the euro 5 DB killer removed or is it too loud.
