I just put a holy dominator in mine. Lost ABS completely and have a digital dash now! The things that you can do with the Holly are amazing. HP tuners works well I just grew out of it I needed more control.
Thanks for info. Doing a diy abs delete also. Has i think a proportion valve stock up by master cylinder not sure to t connect lines after or eliminate it.
I have a 98 C5, wipers turn on randomly, when i turn on the headlights, the HVAC and radio shut off. The Dome lights stay on, the seats move by themselves. Took it to a Mechanic they said it was the BCM. When it rains, the targa top leaks and leaks into the BCM
So this is the only solution to fix the ebcm issue for 97 to 2000? I want my traction control back if nothing else. Thinking it would be very helpful for autocross
If you want to keep traction control then you must replace the module. They are becoming hard to find and the prices are reflecting it. $1,200+ for a used one
@@limitlessracing723 actually found a place in Arizona today that will fix the 97 to 2000. Says there's two types. Kellyhayes I think and the Bosch delco. 199 for the first and 299 for the second. They actually advertise it online too! Lol fingers crossed
@chall241 Do some research on the forums. There are some companies that advertise saying they can fix it. Then send it back saying it’s unfixable and you have to fight to get your money back.
Sorry for the late reply! Don’t be scared. It all part of the experience lol. And the program is HP tuners. Any tuner will have it and you can have them tune it out. Just show them the video if they don’t know how!
So without the EBCM working, you do have traction stuck on but active handling and abs off? I feel like my traction is off because sometimes I’ll take a turn fast and feel it get a bit wobbly at the end without feeling the car do anything
There at the 2:41 minute mark, drivetrain abuse... it's set at 2,000 RPM and 200 mph! I would just start clicking through just as fast as I can possibly move my little fingers and get that RPM up just as high as I can! I can't wait to get into mine with a computer! So, on with a video!
man i got c6 with the (active handling) light keeps coming on and car goes into limp mode. no one can figure it out. car is driving me nuts. you know if that will work on 2010 c6?
You will still have the lights on the dash and the warning message. But it will allow your car to not going into reduced power mode, or allow the ecbm to active while trying to do a burnout/launch the car
@@limitlessracing723 😂😂RIGHT!!! I was just doing some research and this guy was saying the pump is always at 200 psi and it wears the pump down quickly and that it has no engine braking. And I’ve been watching yours for about a year and it seems you’ve only had issues with the torque converter because they were sending the wrong one!!
Yes, you can buy it on Amazon. But i don’t recommend just changing stuff if you don’t know what your doing , find a friend who knows what they are doing and have them help!
@@limitlessracing723 so removing the fuses will NOT prevent any problem with the ecbm for the future? I was trying to prevent the problem that is so common in early C5s.
@@limitlessracing723 damn. One more question...if and when this problem comes up, can you still drive with the light on or no ecbm? I mean..will the car be inoperable?? Will I be stuck in the middle of traffic??

I’ll get one one day lol once I build the motor that will the the next step!
@@limitlessracing723 can u do this to a 01 C5

Did it on mine. The C5’s do really good burnouts. 😁

Good!!! I went along time trying to figure out a solution! Glad I could help!!

So easy to fix and resolder the ABS system so basic it's so common on these cars I just did one the other day
@@chall241 Ok whats the name of the company?
Bro can we talk lol I’m picking up at 2000 c5 on Monday with 37k miles. I’m excited but scared
Been foruming this issue and man I’m still nervous

To the bold go the rewards
Mean is GMT 530 and lines up with all “0s”. But I see the “1” in the line with “Y”. What is the difference in “Y” and GMT530?
Where do you get this program
What year is your car
2000

From my experience, everything was stuck on. But no abs. Couldn’t do a burn out or even spin the tires if you wanted to

Did you check all your wheel speed sensors ?
Wait so if the ecbm goes on a 99c5 you can just tune it out?

Basically turning it into a non electric controlled muscle car? Sign me up lol
Can you cancel Abs and Track control light on dash if EBCM is faulty ?
Sadly I haven’t found a way yet.
What's the button on the steering wheel? (And where did you get that sic steering wheel?) :-)
The right button is for the transbreak and the left button is nothing.
It’s a NRG wheel, they sell them on Amazon
I really want to get myC6 to this level. I was wondering can I daily drive a black edition with a trans brake
I have the level 3 which is right under the black addition. I drive mine everyday! Just don’t press the fun button going down the highway 😂

I saw a video where the guy removed 2 fuses..the 20 and 40 and fixed the abs problem.
That’s If you just wanna delete abs
This was is to delete the abs and EBCM

Nope you can still drive it. You just won’t have abs.
Traction control will be Stuck on
And no burn outs.
WILL THAT WORK ON A 1999?
I believe so!
Who can help me do the same process in California?
I’m not too sure. Just ask around the car scene for anyone who has HP tuner
Abs lights still on your dash
Yeah I know. But it’s turned off in the ecu so nothing with abs works
i need help
