Thank you for showing us this. I’m going to try it. Crazy how awesome the tree life community is man. I never thought I would make so many awesome friends just by turning tree jobs into UA-cam videos. I’m not as good or dedicated to them as you are but the community is definitely there and I absolutely love it. Again thank you and stay safe sir.
Your one of the Good Guys! It's in your body language, speech, the way you work with your employees. I'm sure your the same with your family and your customers. Yep, One of the Good Guys! Really look forward to your videos!!!
Good stuff August. Well done getting the tree rigged back over the "cagey" neighbor's fence. Great cat rescue story, and also sad that the cat died a few months later. "Word of mouth" advertising really is priceless. I have found that to be true again and again. Thanks for sharing and keep yourself safe! Randy
This is my first time ever seeing this dude and he seems like one of the most pure human beings I've come across. Moral to all of his stories.... it is important how we treat each other. Kindness pays dividends. Not to be confused with being taken advantage of though. August made the choice to come help for free, not to work for free.
I'm the same way with Neighbors I normally just keep stuff on the job side of the fence but most of the time the neighbors come out and tell me just drop the trees into my yard it's no problem love those people
Exactly. Always find that if you put out the good vibes and spend time with people good vibes come your way. Makes the day a bit longer but often a lot easier.
Can’t figure out why I’m only seeing some of these quality videos until now. But sure do like your explanations, demonstrations, wisdom and good testimony. “Made for this”...In more ways than one! Lots of people can do the job. Less can do it well. A few can show people. Small fraction can teach people. If I had to guess I’d say you have the “gift” of teaching and you do your craft well. Thanks for your efforts in this area...spreading the wealth of good technique.
Loved the video man! Cool seeing you back up in the tree. Love that even you have to watch videos for reminders and that the throw line has no master some days! Would love to see some of the in between steps on your next spur chunk down if you have the chance (moving your backup line, rigging line, yourself, etc)!
You are awesome. I never thought I would spend hours and hours watching someone cut down trees. I’ve cut a few myself with a small battery operated chainsaw but you make the magic happen with how good you are. It’s amazing to watch someone who is so skilled with their craft.
"Cat Kung Foo" Lol, That's exactly what they do. Your instructions with the Bowline knot, were the same as my father taught me almost 45yrs ago. I taught that knot to all of my buddies when we were kids and is the best one to know ever, Imo. Great video, thumbs up !
That was an awesome video. I laughed so hard at the frayed rigging line comment. Loved seeing the struggle with the throw line. Great story at the end. All around great video dude.
Thank you for continuing to make these an adding more real life aspects of work and background. Watching your videos (and others -- tree guys with integrity and professionalism) is motivating to get out and work and helpful in guiding me in the details of what a professional job looks like to the customer..... now later today to go over those bowlines! YOu just showed how you are a success in business as you care about the people and treat everyone well as it isn't always about money as Good Will and even if you didn't get the jobs out of it then it made what you do worthwhile and a service to the people. I have a family and want to leave a legacy for my boys to take over, but when I can gather up enough money for one of your saddles thats exactly what Im going to do. Thank you, I dont always comment but I watch most of your videos and have learned soo much from you, so for that, and being such an amazing human, Thank you August!

August, great video! The editing is incredible - may have taken more time than felling the tree itself?!? Also thanks for the running bowline pointer. That is really slick!
That’s pretty awesome. I do mine with this tweaked slipknot technique. It’s pretty fast too just do a slipknot on the tail end run it under the other end then thru the slipknot pull a piece over it then tighten it super easy and fast esp in weird parts of the tree
I just came here to learn a running bowline but ended up watching the whole vid. Loved it man keep the great work 👍

Not sure, but, I’m not sad about the cat thing, so it must be my delivery is mis-read. My mom says I have a dry sense of humor. I don’t fake smile for pictures etc.
He just seems more acta non verba than most animated people.
I empathise, I apparently have the resting homicidal maniac face and get accused of being a grumpy old man..... Its just my face I cant sugar coat an expression.
Ya me too. My eyebrows are very low over my eyes. I was born with my face cast in a grimace 😁
I love you man! (In a brotherly way) I'm a 58 year old new climber. I got the equipment, then the CDL, then the arborist license, then opened the business, now I'm learning to climb. No pressure!😮( As we use to say back in the day, I must be out of my tits)
I saw that in utube years a go and love that way of tying a runing bowline It was a man showing how to tie not quicker
And I glad we have met cus of the channel man 👍🏽👊🏽✌🏽
August, great video! The editing is incredible - may have taken more time than felling the tree itself?!? Also thanks for the running bowline pointer. That is really slick!
Thank you bro, awesome way to tie a bowline and awesome vid
That’s pretty awesome. I do mine with this tweaked slipknot technique. It’s pretty fast too just do a slipknot on the tail end run it under the other end then thru the slipknot pull a piece over it then tighten it super easy and fast esp in weird parts of the tree
