I made a mistake with the last of us, unfortunately I got the footage mixed up and posted the wrong comparison, that game does not work on the Claw do to a memory issue. I apologize and will try to avoid mistakes like that in the future.
Im trying to see if its recommended for my ally x, i know no 4K max settings unless its an older game but i want it for my 4K TV, but im only doing it for 1440p
I'm finishing up an ally vs ally x video and will be doing an ally X egpu video after with this, the only real issues is that the drivers from the Z1extream are different then the ones for the onexgpu. There's a program that can switch between both but I haven't used it yet, but I will for this and for the egpu videos.
@AishTalksTech interested for this video too ! I've purchased this egpu and just waiting for it to arrive. Would definitely love to see the tests on the X
I'm a handheld pc fan, but egpus even when its a cool concept, it's not for me... I use my rog ally as my main pc and even with that I feel that I can do everything without problems with the APU also, as a linux user I love that these eGPU are using AMD gpus since tge compatibility with them here on linux are excellent and I know a lot of people on the linux community that buy these type of egpus to use it in project combined with handhelds pc like the ones from gpd
That's totally fair for a lot of users they're just not necessary and I don't have any problems with AMD gpus, it's just that Z1 extreme doesn't play well with them due to the drivers.
I agree the price is too high if this was closer to the 400-500 mark I could see a good argument but at full price it's definitely a niche product in a niche market.
well, I agree, but I think these egpu are made for traveling, like from an office to your house or from a studio to your house because it's easier to carry it instead of a full desktop PC and also it consume much less power/energy
I see these more as a docking option for a more powerful home or office set up, an actual travel size dock would be great but out of the option I see on the market I don't think any of them really make sense as a travel companion.
Yea, but this is not meant for that. It's meant to enhance you gaming PC or handheld. It's everything in one, sleek, and pre built. Try making one yourself and it's going to be way bigger, just as, if not more, expensive, and a lot more cumbersome. $700 isn't a bad price. I picked one up refurbished for $550.

I really need to test more eGPUs, thanks for this Aish!
It's pretty cool but now I want to put one together with an Nvidia card.
Wow I'm very impressed by how professional this review is. Subscribed ✅
Thank you it's always nice to see responses like this.
Looks sleek as hell. Thanks aish 🙂
Thank you for watching 😁
Hey quick question I seen they had an update for Bios 305 did it fix the driver issues with connecting to Rog Ally X ?
Sorry I missed this comment, unfortunately no the update didn't resolve the issues
Fantastic review my friend! I kind of want one now 😆 - Stubbs
Let's make one 😂
Does this work for the Rog Ally X if so are they any issues because im thinking about getting it for my X
It'll work but you'll have to switch between drivers, I'm going to be making a video on how to set that up soon.
@AishTalksTech Okay good when can we expect the video to be dropping ?

@@iROZAY im trying to have both the ally video and the gpu video done by this weekend at the latest
@@AishTalksTech hi, so if i have a rog ally x, would i be able to use the onexpu or onexpu 2? would i be able to play 4k afterwards?

@@AishTalksTech have you released your onexgpu + ally video? will it work in the OG ally?
Unfortunately no we had a medical family emergency and it's delaying everything, but I'll have it out soon.
@AishTalksTech no worries, it's family first, the video can always wait 👍
700 dollar for a 7600 m chip stop it. include the price of the laptop you want to use and you can get a decent laptop
I agree 700 is too much, I mention that at the end 😁
For you fkg 2$

My man, it's the "Radeon" RX7600m XT. Ryzen are the CPUs.
Oh I didn't even realize I said that, thanks for pointing it out.

Nice but it is still very expensive, and its performance is half that of a regular video card. 600 pound on uk store
I completely agree that the price is too high.
A big nope, $699 with 85% rtx4060 performence, what's the point? For $699 you can get a proper 12400f+4060(or even ti) gaming pc

I have a gaming pc with better specs than that
The cost on ebay is 350 so better to buy their
That's a pretty solid deal
Speech way to fast on your narrative had to go back a few times to catch what you were saying.
Thank you for the constructive criticism I'll make sure to work on it in future videos.
and to mention it was still a good video
