Some references "barabar bebe belzebub" - Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop) "what is Morgue.....dance with the zombies.....the zombies........" - Haddaway - What Is Love , "Klaatu barada nikto" - The Day the Earth Stood Still......."this is the ritual of the night" - Corona - The Rhythm of the Night, Snap - Every Body Dance Now and i miss many more for sure. the italian part is from the "divina commedia " by Dante Alighieri a 1300's book written in old italian language
Klaatu can also be a reference to Army of Darkness, where it in fact was used in conjunction with the Necronomicon. Although it was first used in The Day... I do believe the former is the reference here since it fits the theme better; it's about horror more than aliens.
Of course, Nanowar's songs are full of quotations. I'll leave at least 3 that have escaped so many people, here they talk about Doom the video game where precisely you face demons, Dante in the Divine Comedy arrives in hell in the third canto, and here he comes to minute 3 of the song, the good Valerio at one point dances something very recognizable for an Italian "La notte vola" by Lorella Cuccarini.... I was forgetting the tribute to Francesco Salvi and his "C'è da spostare una macchina"
Dance Metal ALL DAY! My wife already thought my preference for Eurodance music was questionable (I just never found my way back home from the 90s) and was almost concerned when I additionally discovered my taste for metal. And then this came out! 🤣
This song brings out the inner nerd in me. My mother-in-law was a professor of Italian and specialised in Dante. So I recognised the Italian part as Canto 7 of the Inferno. Though recited backwards and I had a mini nerdgasm.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody When I was watching the video (and this is a benefit of watching videos) I paused it at that point and got my Dante off the poetry shelf and checked I was right LOL It was Canto 7 LOL
This song take a lot of impressions from Eurodance music. Except that it's Nanowar of Steel, everything what we need in this spooky time. I don't celebrate, but I wish you a happy Halloween.
Well....This reminds me of my old job. Lol. I was a Dj for over a decade, and I played stuff very similar to this. Something different.....I enjoyed it Brother.
@gabrielkain1 @TheWolffAndTheMelody we have been running an internet radio station called "zombiestation" for 16 years and we also dj metal in clubs, so this was really funny for me. BTW the bassist visited me in our radio chat half a year before this came out, so somehow I hope that was an inspiration. lol
Spain got Talent gave these guys X and voted them out in their audition in 2017. One of the judges gave them an X even before they started their performance. i an sure those judges are feeling like a bunch of C**ts now
It's not metal as such, but you should check out Ylvis and some of his songs such as "Jan Egeland", "Stonehenge" or "The Cabin", he's also hilarious. :)
I have a lot of time for the bands that don't take them selves too seriously. They allow them selves a freedom that other bands miss out on. Reminds me I need to dig into Electric Callboy a bit more.
Napalm Records: How many horror movies, metal albums and disco music can you cite in one song?
Nanowar: Yes
SO GOOD!
3.26' is a verse from Dante's Divine Comedy, Inferno VII

Necrodancers really know how to party... (also, this has been my ringtone ever since it came out)
ok...lol Necrodancers is an amazing word hahah I love it.
Have a new video from Naowar of Steel....Protocols of love
I saw, I gotta do it.

@@angiewegenerdjmetalamazon4468 Sounds awesome.
Why yes, they did indeed make a straight up necrophilia reference there.
I just got home from seeing them in Atlanta. They do not disappoint.
They must have insane amounts of fun writing all this crazyness 🤣
As usual insanity, but in a good way of course. Norwegian Reggaetron is still my favorite.

This was brilliant and just fun! The over-use of autotune on the vocals really enhanced the parody effect, and the lyrics were really creative.
Right! I loved it!
Thank you so much for this reaction!
Angie itwas amazing!!!
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Great to hear that!
Awesome reaction as always 😊
thanks friend.
Speaking of disco metal....Turmion Katilot
One of my favorite Nanowar songs ❤❤❤

I used to hate when bands did silly stuff, but as I got older...I want to laugh and feel happy so I like this more lol
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody The metal world needs things like Spinal Tap and Tenacious D to keep it grounded.
One of my favourites! ❤️
So good!
GREAT HALLOWEEN VIDEO
If IT would use Pennywisette, IT would never grow hungry again, or have to put effort into ITS hunting...
wow lol
Disco metal genre is the next big thing. I guess.. 😂
pls check the "Electric Callboy" group. The best start will be from "Hypa Hypa" =))))
I love EC, i'm familiar with Hypa Hypa
Gabonzo Robot (with subtitles) and Winterstorm in the night are killer as well
