You can get the Heat Deflector attachment....and you will feel the difference with the heat expanding outward...instead of upwards..

Thank you for this❣️ I wasn’t going to buy because I don’t want to stand up while by a relaxing fire pit 🥰

Another huge thumbs up for adding the heat deflector. It turns the Bonfire for 4-6 people into firepit for 6-10 at max burn. Another advantage is you get more heat and way less smoke smell on everything since you are further back.

Yep we love our solo stove, you’re absolutely right about the heat it goes straight up however, we did buy the heat deflector last spring and only used it once. Can’t wait to use it this coming winter.

@@TEXASLOYALI wrote that review September 2023, we used ours several times in the spring of 2023 and winter of 2024 we absolutely enjoyed it it actually put off so much heat you’ll have to back up, then as the fire goes down you can scoot up again! ❤

That’s why you buy the deflector plate so it pushes the heat out instead of going straight up ✌️👍

The heat going straight up sure makes it cook a whole lot faster.

Buy the heat deflector, it works great 👍

It's called secondary burn, not re-burn, and a heat deflector is available or you can make your own, which makes a huge difference.

Lol, funny how old things are make new again. Lol this is a old idea from putting a old washing machine tub inside of a barrel. It was used by moonshiners and also for a camping in places where you weren't supposed to be.lol

The biggest drawback is that it's not smokeless 😂

The more wood you burn, it does become pretty much smokeless

The heat issue is what happens when you engineer something that can bae safety done on dirt.

Pure nonsense on the hear going up. When I have my Yukon going you better be 2 feet away or your face will feel like it’s burning off.

I have it also and it's really warm all around also. We have the heat deflector, we only use it in winter when it's really cold.
We are going to buy the "surround" next summer to keep the heat away from my dog. Poor guy lost some tail fluff to the heat two days ago 😂
