Nectar and neutron will give you good results. I think I this is aimed at people who don't understand eq and compression

If by amateurs you mean people who don’t want to put a ton of resource into recording, yes. Yes it is. And that’s most podcasters. It’s just product development responding to the market 🤷🏽♂️
