I have had that happen when I spray soap solution on tint when I'm going to go over it it's like old llumar film failing..... sometimes it's a gamble going over old film...

Core has the worse cuts for front windshield strips.... but you can split it off a full windshield to a strip size. Unless they don't have the full windshield😂 which they don't on some cars😢😑

Thats definitely failed/old film bro, I deal with it on the regular😊 I try to offer most customers the option to go over their existing film to save them some money, ONLY if it is good enough to keep. But yea mostly all have tint thats been on 5+ years and is well past its warranty... Great work bro!

One time I was trying to remove some “glue” off a window and used some tint off with a pad just like that and it ruined the entire window.. it made it more and more hazy but the crazy thing is, the film wasn’t that old… I’m guessing the remover damaged the film in the process
