You have to appreciate an actor such as Peter Blomquist. When someone makes you hate a character, in a game, or a movie, it really pays homage to what a great actor they really are.

The announcer? That crowd is AWFUL, absolutely no basic manners when reacting to others on a stage, the audience (what we can see of it) was incredibly cringe and annoying.
Roger didn't write the game, though. There are too many variables throughout the game to call one ending canon. I think whether you go with John or go back for the money is far more important than your honor at the end

Weird Beard I had a love/hate relationship with Sadie. At first I felt bad for her because of what had transpired before we found her. She was weak and vulnerable. Always brooding and seeking revenge. Completely understandable. However, that didn’t give her the right to go about things the way she did. She lost whatever admiration I had for her when she would go on these reckless rampages of hers, putting the lives of others at risk, only to satisfy her thirst for vengeance. Take that hot air balloon fella. He shouldn’t have died, but thanks to Sadie, he did. The police officers in Saint Denis, corrupt as they are, also wouldn’t have lost so many had she not suddenly get her period. She indirectly killed so many people to satisfy her lust for vengeance, and even that wasn’t enough for her. She continued to go for the remaining O’Driscolls when the gang already had enough problems. It was already too much trying to keep Dutch from finally snapping without having to worry about another loose cannon. Anyways, sorry for the rant. Just my two cents.

It's amazing to see how you can still hear their actual voices through the voices they performed. It's not like they totally changed their own voice, they just emphasized some aspects of it. Really cool to hear.
In a way, he did. His good ending was giving another the chance at a better life than he had. Arthur passes looking at the most beautiful sunrise in a game. He died knowing the world would go on better without him, yet also because of him.
Sucks that this great game is not getting the accolades it deserves. Rockstar delivered one of the most immersive experiences ever, but critics complained it was not fun. Not everything has to be fun. Some experiences can just be awe inspiring than the thrill of it all.
Finally, every damn time I hear people say it’s overrated because the bigger critics say it’s the perfect game but no, I hear too many people saying its not all that good or boring but that really isn’t true to me
Unfortunately critics started swooning over GOW director bc he is such a great and positive guy, they decided to give him every award. GOW was a great game no doubt, but I know most of my time was spent playing Red Dead hunting, exploring, and completing challenges.
The only thing I don't like about this game is that there's no even a point of robbing people, coaches, trains and stores because you get so much in-game money it's worthless. Even if you buy 3 horses with 700 dollars each you still have money to spend

Not everyone will agree on this, but that aspect didn't bother me. One trip to the store to get all clothes to mix and match when I'm at camp is better than having to go back and trying other pieces. If I can eliminate some dead time to do other things I wanted like hunting and completing challenges, I will do.
I'm just lying in bed with my eyes closed and smiling just listening to the voices that were part of this amazing journey that gilded an otherwise tough part of my life. Both games are to me experiences that will always have a special place in my heart and memory. It's fascinating what video games can mean to you, how much they can influence your life and who you are and what you want to be. It's fascinating how they can help you stay strong when you're at your lowest.
I really admire these actors...I've never been much of a gamer, but RDR has been my obsession. And like voice actors, now mostly voice/mocap actors, I appreciate their efforts and art so much. RDR2's voice acting, the character inflection that you absorb literally in some syllables, is moving, adds to the emotions, and delivery so well. My hat is off.
The ‘strong female character’ question always gets to me. She was a brilliantly written character, but her feminine qualities weren’t removed to fit the tired archetype. She’s not a strong FEMALE character. She’s a strong female CHARACTER. Also the point she made about the anomaly of a weak character becoming strong isn’t new. Tomb Raider already did it.
But red dead did it better. It took a long while maybe months in game time before she started kicking ass. Laura is just like, well guess I'm killing hundreds of people now.
One of my favorite character moments for her was after she got her revenge. She just breaks. It shows that shes still the same person deep down. Too many times you get these archetypes but every character in that game felt natural, most of all Sadie and Arthur.
You know the actor for Micah is really a nice guy he’s been getting backlash and hate tweets even though he’s just doing his job it’s sad because he’s the type of guy you could really bond with and even call a friend
I like how Roger (Arthur) and Benjamin (Dutch) are sitting on opposite sides of the room wearing blue and red respectively similar to the honor system in the game (blue being high and red being low for Arthur's clothes when he buys that suit with Trelawny). Wonder if that was on purpose or not.

In a way, he did. His good ending was giving another the chance at a better life than he had. Arthur passes looking at the most beautiful sunrise in a game. He died knowing the world would go on better without him, yet also because of him.

Sucks that this great game is not getting the accolades it deserves. Rockstar delivered one of the most immersive experiences ever, but critics complained it was not fun. Not everything has to be fun. Some experiences can just be awe inspiring than the thrill of it all.

Unfortunately critics started swooning over GOW director bc he is such a great and positive guy, they decided to give him every award. GOW was a great game no doubt, but I know most of my time was spent playing Red Dead hunting, exploring, and completing challenges.
The only thing I don't like about this game is that there's no even a point of robbing people, coaches, trains and stores because you get so much in-game money it's worthless. Even if you buy 3 horses with 700 dollars each you still have money to spend
@@traderbychoice7560 I'm guilty of utilizing the glitch. Personally I wanted to explore and buy things without worrying about being low on cash. Not everyone will agree on this, but that aspect didn't bother me. One trip to the store to get all clothes to mix and match when I'm at camp is better than having to go back and trying other pieces. If I can eliminate some dead time to do other things I wanted like hunting and completing challenges, I will do.

Both games are to me experiences that will always have a special place in my heart and memory. I really admire these actors...I've never been much of a gamer, but RDR has been my obsession. And like voice actors, now mostly voice/mocap actors, I appreciate their efforts and art so much. RDR2's voice acting, the character inflection that you absorb literally in some syllables, is moving, adds to the emotions, and delivery so well. My hat is off.

The ‘strong female character’ question always gets to me. She was a brilliantly written character, but her feminine qualities weren’t removed to fit the tired archetype. She’s not a strong FEMALE character. She’s a strong female CHARACTER.

But red dead did it better. It took a long while maybe months in game time before she started kicking ass. Laura is just like, well guess I'm killing hundreds of people now.
One of my favorite character moments for her was after she got her revenge. She just breaks. It shows that shes still the same person deep down. Too many times you get these archetypes but every character in that game felt natural, most of all Sadie and Arthur.
