Nope. Come to Britain. Our food inflation is at around 16-17%. Everything is so much more expensive than it used to be. Prices have doubled and tripled in some cases and things that were once affordable are now a luxury. I was in Prague last Novemrber and although the prices were higher than the other 3 times i had visited, they were still much cheaper than UK.

@@kellyvonkrypt9112 Inflation was at 19% here for almost a year and now it is at 15% I would like to remind you that we need to compare prices with the local salaries, in Britain I think no one makes 1200 euros a month net, this is still the average salary in Prague whilst prices for accommodation skyrocketed as well as food
Shopping groceries in Germany for a Czech salaried person is cheaper, hands down. And not like 3% cheaper, hella cheaper, between 30 and 50%
Prague has beed destroyed by people saying "it's cheap" those times are over, it's already 9 years Prague is hella expensive, one of the least affordable places in proportion to salaries, all my British friends that come to visit me here acknowledged that.

@jayce_147 Plenty of people make £1200 or less here. Energy costs are the highest in Europe and some of the highest in the world. The government has to top up people's wages because they earn so little. There are thousands of food banks with desperate people queuing for hours in the rain for basic supplies. Whilst CZ might also be in a bad place, we've had 13 years of conservative authority which has decimated this country. Now that its affecting those that were previously comfortable it's now a 'crisis' whilst the tories are treating the country like it's having a going out of business sale. People are struggling and I would swap Britain for CZ in a heartbeat. But Brexit......
