Am I the only one that laughed hard when she saw the skeleton down the stairs and said, "Poor Bugger, must have fallen down the stairs." LOL reminded me of Helen Bonham Carter when she said "Poor Bugger" in Sweeney Todd! Love you Black Friday, Great Video as always!
I saw them earlier this year. What a f'ing awesome show. They've still got it after all these years. When they played Just Like Heaven .. I thought my heart was going to burst! Such a great band :) x
I'll never forget the day my daughter found The Cure. She was hoping to freak me out with the music, and she ended up freaking out when I started banging my head to the music. LOL. I LOVED The Cure in the '80's! Still do.
i must say, you seem so much happier... actually going out and doing stuff/exploring... where as in new zealand all you did was work your ass off. im happy for you!
I was at that gig! And, tell me, did you notice the lack of other spooky/goth/alternative (whatever-the-hell) people? I thought for sure I'd fit in at a Cure concert, but ended up getting pointed at and giggled about more than anything. Never had that happen to me before (just moved to Prague recently).
In fact, there aren't many goth and alternative people in the whole country. Sabine, you may feel better if you go to the Prague Gothic Treffen next August. There won't be any people laughing at you ;) You know most of Czechs don't accept people that don't fit it. Today, I saw a photo of a really beautiful man in a long coat, with long light hair amoking a pipe, in a FB group called "Odpozorováno v česku" and there were people saying he should be sent to an assylum. I mean WTH is wrong with people?!
Jenysss I've heard of Gothic Treffen and feel like that's my calling. I really thought Prague would be more accepting! Besides the metal shop (somehow metal is more acceptable than goth I guess) in old town there isn't much love!
MrFusselig it's a shame because this city is delightfully spooky on its own! It has the perfect personality for spooky folks, but not many people here seem to agree. Is there another Czech city that embraces the gothic history in a modern way?
These are my FAVOURITE types of videos that you do. Like traveling with friends without having to buy the tickets :D Love you guys! Thanks for sharing your journeys :D xx
I had far too many fits watching this video! I've been subscribed to you for a very long time, and this video may very well be my new favorite. The Cure is by far my favorite band, and their music means so much to me. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, it meant more than I can express.
lovely! I was very interested in the beautiful library. yall seemed to be having a great time. I was lucky enough to have seen the cure many years ago here in the US. something you'll always treasure ♡
I saw The Cure in Prague for the Wild Mood Swings tour, and several other European cities. It was great! I saw them on the current tour in Atlanta and Charlotte in the Us. So happy to have seen them again. I think it was the 7th and 8th time
I love watching your videos because you're giving me so many ideas of places I want to go. Thanks for vlogging everything, I love that you want to take us along with you. Also, I appreciate your white claws. It somehow works with your aesthetic.
His voice hasn't aged a bit love him so much! Looks like you had an awesome time, maybe one day I'll be able to see him live too. Thanks Black Friday for sharing and inspiring. ♡
OMG I would definitely cry if I saw The Cure in concert - one of my favorite bands of all time. Thanks for sharing clips of the concert and also that library was gorgeous and you and Matthias look lovely. Can't wait for part 2 :)

I showed your vlog to my mum, she's an art teacher and went her students to Prague three weeks ago for exchange with a school in Prague. It's so fun to see Prague through your vlog and my mum went to a lot of places you showed. Thank you ^_^
Thank you for taking those of us who are stuck working at our desks and unable to dress how we really want, on a trip to see the things we probably never otherwise could. Thank you so much :)
"I envy my recent past self" Oh you! So perfectly put. That is exactly the feeling I had when I watched the Bizarre Festival videos a minute ago. Thinking: "There! There, somewhere in this large crowd. There I was."
So incredibly jealous that you got to see The Cure! It sounds like it was an awesome show, Robert Smith sounds as great as ever. I hope you had a wonderful time.
Ohhhhh! thank you so much for including all of my top cure songs! I know you had no idea. but I absolutely loved it. I had the opportunity to go see the cure in 2006 (?) but my cousin wanted to leave before they played. so I missed the cure and haven't seen em yet! I'm glad you had fun!
Thank you for sharing this. It brought back so many fond memories of growing up and then seeing them a few years ago. I love how Robert Smith has always remained the same
Omg I saw The Cure back in late 80's and in the 90's , thank you so much for sharing , sounds the same😍 love you FRIDAY!!!! This takes me back to my crazy days!
Ah wonderful! I saw them in New Orleans in May and it was completely surreal. (I actually cried through most of it, but I didn't care.) I'm so glad you got to see them! Thanks for the lovely vlog! xx
That totally took me back to seeing them in Auckland earlier this year, we were right up the front directly in front of the keyboardist, close enough to see Robert's smudged lipstick in detail....ahhh twas epic lol looks like you had an awesome time, I am loving your channel and am pleased I stumbled upon it :) love from a fellow kiwi
My favorite Cure show was at an indoor/outdoor venue with a big grassy hill behind the seating. Everyone rose as one to dance, the whole hill undulating, when they played Just Like Heaven. It was awesome. It was fated to be a great show because as I was walking down the street to catch the ferry to the venue, there was a great big rainbow that ended right at the stage. Such a special night.
I saw them back in May and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe they were real and standing in front of me and breathing the same air as me. I love them so much.
OMG! This was so incredibly awesome! I am so happy for you! The library would be my dream home! And that restaurant looked amazing! How was the food? Looked delicious! And you got to see The Cure too! Thank you for sharing this!
So jealous. I have been a Huge Robert Smith/Cure fan since the early, early 80's. I even have THE CURE tattooed on my right back shoulder. I totally Love Love Love The Cure.

I adore your travel and gigs videos! Please do not ever stop making them. You doing a travel guide-type features on Germany, goth scenes, culture, history or anything would be amazing! Educate us! Robert Smith is everything! I saw The Cure for the first time this May and this brought so many good memories. It really was a dream come true. Also, visited Prague this summer and randomly found The Absintherie that you've featured in one of your earlier videos. Next time - that library. I'm getting such great tips on your channel. (Not to mention I tried Muellermilch in Berlin because I saw it here first.) Cheers from Canada!
The table with the food made me feel good. Seeing The Cure's set list also made me feel good. You are brave and excellent documentarians, and this is why I watch these videos. I'm speaking for myself, of course.
I saw the cure in Melbourne in July with my friends and it was honestly the best concert I have ever been too they were amazing, playing a 3 hour set with 4 encores and robert's voice was just as beautiful as ever! :)

How exciting! I spent my whole life never expecting to see The Cure live and I was able to see them in 2013 and just a few months ago! They're such a great band live. I was in the 2nd row the first time I saw them and was internally screaming the entire time. Nothing quite like making eye contact with Robert Smith while he serenades you
Ahhh this is great! I recently got offered tickets to see the cure, sadly already have plans on that day already.. so envious of you guys! looked amazing :D
Nice!!! How very awesome to see The Cure in Prague, wow! My husband and I saw them twice this year and travelled 9 hours by car the second time. The Cure are our favourite band. 🙌🏻 Anyway, fantastic video. Looking forward to part 2. 💜
I saw them in May in New Orleans. I was the only one who made a sign and got to sit relatively close to the stage. I'm pretty sure Robert Smith and I made eye contact, but even if I'm just imagining it, it was the most amazing experience I've ever had.

Yes (I am that chubby blonde guy in the video), I noticed that too. But there are not a lot off spooky people here in Prague unfortunately...
