I wonder what would have happened to it had it been a dog?? Smashed to death by the gathered?? ..@NOTE: the founder of Islam approved cats [hence muslims' love for cats] & utterly rejected dogs, pigs & many other "not halal" animals. I doubt that a self-respecting "god" would openly discriminate against some of "his own creations" such as dogs. @I think Islam & that part of the World have a long way to go before they address their horrible record of animal cruelty & routine abuses meted to poor dogs, horses, donkeys, etc. @Observe those heartbreaking abuses endured by all those carts-pulling horses & donkeys in Egypt, Palestine, the Middle East, Islamic Africa, many parts of Africa & Asia, etc. @SIMPLY AWFUL & HEART BREAKING. AND, THERE IS NO SIGN THAT THESE CRUEL HABITS WOULD CHANGE SOON IN THAT PART OF THE WORLD.
