The Health Body Fitness They don't want to hear about this. They want to look down upon us, due to their subconscious nature. Before they ventured out of Europe they used to look down upon each other and they still do today. Of course not all Europeans are like this, but it's not hard to see that throughout history these people have had a third for superiority.

Braden Rich The Moors were those of North West Africa. Berbers are Moors, the Mauretanians who are black are also Moor (hence the name, look up the etymology), the Arabs however where a minority in North West Africa. Most of the Moors were native Africans. Berbers included, even though they can't really be called black.

arthinugami there are several great movies about Zulu victories and attacks on the British. They are more from a European perspective but are actually quite respectful to both the Zulu and the actual history for being made in like the 80s, honestly more impartial and historical than many movies made today.

Now while I always love the story of The Golden Stool and of course appreciate the Asante making the list as a symbolic victory I have to drop a tiny critique. In those Anglo Asante Wars, the first war fought about 75 years before the Golden Stool, Asante obliterated the British in the Battle of Nsamankow. Great battle that involves Asante Warriors taking the head of a British General and eating his heart (I’m working on a book on this) IJS Asante have a Zulu-like victory well before the Zulu had it, but great video all together!

It's worth noting that the Battle of Adwa is a great example of a "Defeat in Detail".
Emperor Menelik's expert use of the terrain and spies to keep tabs on the Italian force allowed him to choose his moment perfectly. When he attacked, the Italian force was spread out over a large area and were unable to mount an effective defence. Had Menelik attacked when the Italian army was united he would still probably have won the battle, but at a horrific cost. By attacking the Italian brigades separately he was able minimize his losses and press his army's advantage in numbers.
Menelik's army suffered heavy casualties (as can be expected of any frontal assault during the time period) but had the advantage of superior numbers and was able to keep up the momentum despite losses. The Italian brigades were unable to support each other allowing Menelik complete control of the battlefield and to take the Italians apart piece by piece. When all was done, he had driven the Italians out of Ethiopia and preserved Ethiopian independence.

    • @cheerfulpessimist952

Very true, and they wouldn't learn that lesson until late into the First World War.

    • @cheerfulpessimist952
      @cheerfulpessimist952 6 років тому

They seem to forget the lesson after the First World War. Many of the mistakes made by the Italian High Command would be repeated during the Second World War, largely due to Mussolini and his Fascists interfering with military affairs (and overestimating the strength of their under-equipped military).

let me add on Ethiopia. The only country in Africa that is not colonized at anytime in history. We have a 3,000 history, but we don't colonized. That is why we don't have independence day, but We have a lot of victory day. For instance, Italy, Egypt, sudan, somalia, Eritrea ..... Plus Italy came twice to control the whole part of Ethiopia ; however, they couldn't win the battle. That is why most African flag are exactly the same as Ethiopia.

Before Yaa Asantewaa, the Ashanti empire had already defeated the British on numerous occasions, first was in 1831 which led to the beheading of British governor Sir Mccarthy, his head was kept as a trophy. Another was the '' Sagrenti war'' where the Ashantis defeated a British invading force led by Sir Garnet Wolseley. The Ashanti empire could gather up to 200, 000 men for war. This was far more than the well known Zulu empire and comparable to the legions of Ethiopia.

No one invade Ethiopia except Italy and conquered whole Ethiopia but the rest of European countries gave Ethiopia break because they were only Christin country in Africa. British French and Portuguese never invade Ethiopia but invade Somalia because they were Muslims. Ethiopia study fake history

Ancient Egypt had one of the greatest armies in Africa, for Egypt was one of the few African nations who led expeditions outside of Africa and conquered none Africans on their own soils. Egypt has conquered the middle east more times than the middle east conquered Egypt.

Thank you so much for everything man. I just want to say that African History is the best history! It is just so sad that African victories over colonizers aren't mentioned and considered significant when they should be! And something I'd like to add is that Emperor Menelik shouldn't get all the credit. His wife, Empress Tayitu led her own contingent at the battle in Mekelle, and it was her who devised the plan that made the Italians surrender at Mekelle.

    Sir...your videos are fabulous!!!
I adore watching and listening to your narration and the graphic backdrops.
Your productions are 100% class acts! I don't know you personally and have no idea how you speak in private. All I know is I appreciate that most of all, YOU DO IT WITHOUT EXPLETIVES!
That alone is soooo refreshing!!! I get so tired of our people using foul language as if it expressed honorable communication. Our people seem to take full pride in speaking that way and it is nothing to be proud of on any level.
Your presentations give me hope that one day our folk will wake up and develop a since of true pride and finally let go of all the bad habits that we have adopted from other cultures.
My goal is to get myself to the place where I can suport people like you who aspire to a higher vibration in this life.
And oh yea!! I love the vibration that your communication puts out! There's nothing cumbersome about what you do.
You, along with a couple other brothers that I follow on youtube, are excellent representations of the black man in media!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do sir. 🌈😃👍🌈

The corrupt soldiers killed Lubwe. His kingdom was in part of Northern Zambia and South East DRC. In remembrance of This king, mission hospital was built in his honor. Lubwe mission in Zambia.

To this day, many African tribes despise the Zulu… besides they got dealt with in the end by the native natal, and British forces 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

@@LennyMadona-jm8yq bro I’m aware of the history of both the Native Americans and the Zulu as well as other African tribes and kingdoms 😂😂😂😂😂 the tribes that fought in the little bighorn where (to be blunt) bloodthirsty savages, as well as the Zulu if it wasn’t for the input of the British the Zulu would have fucked South Africa beyond repair, same with the US solders with the souix, Cheyenne/arapaho, Kiowa, etc. the native Americans actually attacked tribes on reservations the Zulu If given the chance would have as well, im African American 2 of my family members were buffalo solders that fought the souix (I am a mix of different ethnic groups within Africa but most of my ancestors were the Dahomey so I believe me when I say I know what unchecked brutality is) and I could argue that European colonization is one of the best things to ever happen to this world. Yes Europe has done some bad things to indigenous peoples, and a lot of the time it was looked down upon by the European/American public but that’s nothing compared to what the indigenous people in America, Africa, and the south pacific not only did but celebrated. I was just making a comparison
