Thanks for unpicking the numbers and explaining how this great mod works “behind the scenes”. Must admit I simply tended to look for new little’uns on day 1 of each month without understanding that there was a probability an animal might not become pregnant. Though must admit I had stared to wonder why two animals with the same months since last birth had different percentages for length of gestation - now I know!
Must remember to update the mod too….
you're welcome, and I hadn't really notice either until people started asking in the M+ discord about why their animals weren't all pregnant.
nice video once again, really love your way of testing everything! Might be noteworthy: cows need to be 18+ months, bulls 15+... i really was wondering why no of my cows got pregnant anymore after selling my old bull, and keeping the 12 month bull :D

Can you make a similar video for chicken? I have restricted automatic rep. and no rooster, still the coop sells off new chicks as no more room remains in the coop -meaning they still reproduce
The probabilities for chicken are the same, so what you are seeing looks more like a bug. The is an enhanced animal system channel on the M+ discord where the creator can be contact.
That’s the downside of playing a long time on the same map and not updating my mods because it will screw everything up. Those new functions aren’t available in my version of eas 😕
So update the mod. I don't think this is a new save situation, so you too could have the same experience.

@smockfarmer try making a backup save of your current playthrough and test it. Seems a shame to miss out on the options
I don't think updaing EAS will mess anything up. But as suggested make a back up first
