I own a 17 R/T 6 spd Challenger ,I've owned it for four yrs now and absolutely love it.
Great! Glad you’re enjoying the car. Thanks for tuning in.
I love the old colonial-era homes along the route.
I’m about to buy a 5.7 L R/T in F8 Green.
Great homes! F8 green is a great color. Best of luck with the purchase. Thanks for tuning in.
I have the T/A 6.4 in GoManGo color. I use 275 performance tires and it helps plant the power much easier. I got it with low miles for 55k. Now they're selling R/T's for that price and that's much of the reason why it's not selling well. Economics aside, it's a big thumbs up for all who get to witness it for sure.
Great car. In my area the R/T’s are now being discounted by about 7k off MSRP. I bought this one for myself and love the car. Thanks for watching.
U gotta run 305s on a scat and a rt…. I run 275s in rear and still spin like if they were 245s… especially on a turn from a stop with a 5.7… i ran 305s on a scat and they do much better
I got one a couple months ago. New 2023 Plum Crazy 5.7 Shaker. It is fun. Always wanted one since HS. Never could afford it til now at 67 years old! Haha! Better late than never. I need to get the windows tinted since I'm in an aquarium right now. Lol. I love that laugh at the end... I feel the same way when driving it.
Thanks for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated.
Mine is all sublime with black spoilers front and back black along the bottom and everyone does look. With Last Call badge. Love mine great sound. Everyone comments on mine and it moves out pretty good for a heavy car and like in the old days stick to the road better than a lighter car. Its fun to drive . It all about the fun you have in this car.
Agreed. Enjoy the car.
Hi there, just found your review. I have a 2015 r/t 5.7 over here in England. Very few over here so get slot of attention. Love it so much great to drive. Lots of our country lanes are like this. And driving a left hand drive on the left hand side is no big deal. So sad they stopped them. Am off to the molar muscle meet at Brooklands next week, where McLaren is made. Keep driving.
Hello England! Glad to hear! Enjoy the car. Thanks so much for tuning in.
Awesome video brother, we have a 2023 Dodge Charger RT Scat Pack Widebody with the 392 Hemi
V8 in it with 485 HP and 475 Ibs of Torque and let me tell you its a freakn beast.
Thank you i do love mine
Love these cars.Even the 6 runs well.I just got the RT a wk ago.Not super fast, but not going to race it.Plenty of power for a every day car. The sound and the shift is amazeing.Fun cars and still a head turner
Congrats! They are simple and a lot of fun. Big V8, RWD and a steering wheel. 😂😂
Great review of this challenger!
I own a 2021 charger scatpack, and it's a great car. Owned since new, now have 18.5k miles on it. I mostly drive highway and average 21 mpg with it.
I think the RT is best for most people as it has the v8 sound, can use regular gas vs premium, and overall cost of maintenance is lower. Unfortunately all Dodge cars ballooned in price the last few years, I got my charger scat pack for 45.5k out the door with the plus group and a sunroof in Nov 2021. 58k for a TA is steep. Good thing Dodge is discounting their cars heavily now.
Thanks! Prices are high for sure. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Much appreciated.
That car is great with the “performance handling group” has lowered ride hight and the Bembro brakes on all for corners. The axel is also the one that would come with the Scat Pack too..
I must admit, I really enjoy seeing and hearing a review from the elder demographic, " Respectfully ". Before my dad passed in 2022, he was starting to like the Challengers because I stated I wanted one. I'm not an young buck but not in the elder demo, mid family man. Ever since I purchased my Ram 1500 in 2016, the Chall has caught my eye, walking around the dealership while waiting for the oil change, they really have grown on me. Now, I'm a Corvette owner of 3 and looking to add a Chall to the garage, I'm eyeing a 2018 SRT 392, with low miles and getting close to pulling the trigger. Dodge or should I say Stellantis, is ripping our muscle hearts out by discontinuing this beast of an Machine. New Sub and looking forward to more reviews. 👍 5/21/2024
Thanks! Elder demo? Me? I'm only 58. 😅 I understand what you’re saying. I appreciate the sub and the feedback.
@@ChabbysExtras - Better phrase " Old School Review ".... 👍
Love the color & trim...✌️
I love my 5.7 charger. Those 5.7s come ridiculously restricted from factory. The manifolds are so bad. I threw some long tubes and a tune on it.
You can turn tractions control completely off. Push and hold traction control button for about 15 to 20 seconds and it will shut off. You can do that in both Charger and challenger. And you can do it in any mode.
Thanks for the info! Much appreciated.
Gained a subscriber love this review video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching. Much appreciated.
I am a old school lifetime Mopar owner/fan - Wow what a badass car! Mopar or Nocar............
You bet!! Love it!!
Beautiful car. Looks like somewhere in new England. Forsythias bloom right about now up there.
Great time to take a drive in a beast like the. Fall too.
Central NJ to be exact. Thanks for tuning in. Much appreciated.
I ended up with a TA 392 with a 6apd, bought her new in 2018. They wanted 55k but got it for 43k after rebate, and they were willing to let it go because nobody wanted a manual. Funny thing is I didn't even know what a TA was at the time lolol was looking for a scatpack. I'm glad I got the ta because it had different options that the scatpack didn't have and it sat lower stock. I love being the oddball in the group
A 392 with a 6 speed! Wow! Awesome. Thanks for watching.
@ChabbysExtras anytime bro Thanks! I definitely made the right choice
I have 18TA 392 , 71000mi, too much on gas 😂 I’m going keep it for longer than 10 years ❤
I had a RT Plus 2014 A dealer swiped it from me for 17,000 with 33,000 miles on it was a great car he took it to another dealer and i found it again was going to buy it back they wanted 27,000 and would not even give me a break on it. No bank would finance it without me giving 10,000 down . I was scammed out of my car and the money. My 23 made me feel better the day i bought it. It is faster than my 2014.
That was a rough break. Glad you got into a 23. Thanks for tuning in.
4:15 you can turn it off completely
Problem right now dealerships have them marked up so high people aren't buying them anymore.
I had perilli tires and got rid of those for mickey thompson pro streets
5.7eng....not enough to run with the Camaros and Mustangs. Need to upgrade to the 6.2 or 6.4.
Those stock 245 are just to burn out once you want to upgrade get some 275
It's kinda fun with the stock 245's. I swapped my 245's out as soon as they needed to be replaced, and sometimes I miss the shenanigans.
58 thousand LMFAO
"Everybody's gonna look at ya" , yeah when a 90 year old is driving a Challenger. FCOL, your old er then my grandpa
Let me guess the dealership wants 25k plus a 5k mark up, what a rip off. That's a 20k car tops
