- Hey all I am currently halfway through the Malian book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson and because of that I wanted to share my thoughts on this incredible story so far. Hope you enjoy!
Ah yes. And there is Ian. If we consider his work and you read it in full reading order as some Cosmere fan would? It’s even more easer. He fills in parts. Like now there are two stories before the next book: Night of Knives and Heathy Dead. Then the Bonehunters. Of course only for maximalists.
@@nazimelmardi Yep, the deeper you get into it the more it makes sense
Read Kubera one last god
Its an epic high fantasy manhwa with great characters, great world building, fantastic plot twists.
Its on the same level as one piece and Malazan
It’s one thing to say something on the level of Malazan, but one piece? Very interesting
@@IzzyZil20 I'm a very big one piece fan and believe me when I say I don't joke around with that statement. But kubera earned it. It's not wacky like one piece but it's very well written. You mentioned something about how Erikson writes dialogue between ancient beings and humans kubera has it. The foreshadowing of one piece kubera has it. Its very good man. But it starts slow though and the art isn't bad but gets better and it's superb by the current chapters
@@patrickspencer5033 I’ll check it out
What are your top 5 fantasy
If we’re strictly talking about Fantasy, and if one piece dosent count then.
1. The Wheel of Time
2. A Song of Ice and Fire
3. Malazan
4. First Law
5. Stormlight
There’s a two scfi I’d put above Malazan which are Sun Eater and Dune.
@@IzzyZil20 wow nice. Is WOT that good despite the slog
@@patrickspencer5033 absolutely in my opinion
