-- About --
I am an Asian-American-Swedish artist living in the beautiful city of Malmö, Sweden. My art is inspired by my love of animals and my style is a combination of the cultures I have been a part of - a bit of American quirk, a pinch of Eastern influence and a dash of Scandinavian design. Follow me on my journey as I grow my small art business while I grow as an independent artist.

Glad to see you again. What a journey you have had. Why not go for it while you are young and very resourceful.
Thank you so much! It's been a wild ride so far
Congratulations on a challenging and fantastic year! Your videos are so honest and heartfelt. They are truly inspiring. I can't wait to hear more about what is in store for 2023!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey! It’s always useful to learn how other artists run their business day to day. I’m trying to grow my little abstract art business and most days I just don’t have a clue what to do besides actually painting! Wishing you all the very best in 2023.
It really is just going with the flow! Good luck with your art business :D!!
🎉 great job navigating the independent artist life! To 2023!! 🎉🎉
Thank you! It's been a challenge but we made it through year 1!
Oh the identity crisis after leaving your ‘employee’ status and moving to self employment! I feel ya on that after experiencing it for the last year and a half..the emotions do settle down as you have probably already experienced but it is a real thing for sure when you have worked a normal job for most of your life. I think it’s the experience people who retire at an older age have 😆 good luck with your creative business, you have wonderful work ❤
Yay! Hi Birdie! Congratulations on the success of your studio, markets, and shop opening! Wishing you more success, happiness, and nothing but the best for the new year! 🙂
Thank you Nha!! I hope 2023 ends up being a good year for everyone 😊💕
holy CRAP BIRDIE. A CHAPTER FOR EVERY MONTH?!?!?!! 💛💛💛 Just finished watching the whole thing, you are so genuine and captivating to listen to and watch. Seeing you navigate through your ups and downs as an independent artist is so real, you went through a lot this year and from an outside pov your consistency and perseverance brought you more and more success 💛 what an inspiration. also I died when you talked about your 1000 socks LMAO. Welcome back to youtube and I can't wait to see everything you do in 2023!! 🥰
Thanks val!! I've been away so long so it was nice to put together a catch up vid 😊 The socks were truly a moment where I had to rethink everything cause I was gonna be drowning in socks 🥲. Thanks for the encouragement and I'm looking forward to making more vids!
really loved seeing through you're whole year! nice to see you back!!!
Thank to so much!
I can't wait to hear your video on how it felt moving from your full-time job of a decade into a 'perusing your art' full-time. I started selling last year and hope to leave my full-time job of 11+ years in graphic design to do pottery so your stories and path really resonate. Ty for sharing your trials and joys : 3
It's a video I'm a little nervous about making but it is comforting to know others like yourself are on the same path as me and we can go through it together. Congrats on leaving your day job to pursue your own art!
Congratulations on a huge year! I'm excited for new yt content and particularly the studio tour - I'm currently renovating a studio and am already feeling overwhelmed with how to furnish, organize, etc. it once it's time :)
Let me know if you have any specific questions about setting up a studio! I know I went through a lot of back n forth but it's been a few months now so I can't remember all the details of what I was struggling with
Thanks for sharing ❤ I’m on the same path of you, quitting my job and making pottery 😊 your cats 😂❤❤
Congrats and thank you for sharing the journey with us 😊
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your studio and successful markets! You're such an inspiration. I love your videos and artwork and can't wait for the next video :)
Thank you so much! Working on the next video already 😊
I've been doing a UX UI design bootcamp but I've not been inspired by it. My passion is illustration and textile design which I've been learning for several years. I'm attempting to go self employed in that instead. I'll save the bootcamp materials as a back up plan. I've heard a lot of it is meetings and presentations.
Thanks for sharing your journey, I've subscribed.
Love this for you! Congrats on an amazing year!
Thank you 😊😊💕
