- The DWK crew reached out to me with their story of the graffiti towers and man is it a wild one! At this point, the graffiti high-rise in LA has become the spot to hit, and might just be the most famous spot currently. With that, graffiti artists from all over the world are traveling to the towers in hopes of getting up in the outside of the towers! yeah the DWK crew reflected that at the end of the video where they were only hit with trespassing. however, if they had been caught with paint then that might be a different story.
Things are so different since video surveillance has come into play. My city has completely destroyed the graffiti scene

Yes lets arrest artists that work really fucking hard to put some life on this abandoned ruin, not whoever wasted millions building this urban blight just to rot in the world where people are starving.

what is the hypothetical timeline for physical copy releases of the book?
To be honest, this process is very new to me. It's my first physical book so my estimation might be way off but I hope within the next month or two. Iv spent tons of time looking at buplishers and their contracts and thinking about where you guys would rather buy from (certain publishers won't sell in certain stores or locations). Iv turned down tons of contracts and now I'm self publishing it but I still have to go through registering the ISBN and all these other processes I'm not too familiar with.

Dang, this reminds me of 5Pointz in New York... Beautiful. They should keep these buildings intact with the graffiti. That would be so dope if they finished the building interior and made it a multipurpose set of buildings in like residential and an incubator for artists and small up and coming small businesses and skills training programs.

Ill be honest, if you're newer to graffiti, premium cans are all good and better quality than you need. The differences between them in quality is minimal for newer artists more times than not. If anything I'm compelled to recommend you get cheaper cans just to kind of play around with while saving some money.
also, you dont really need many markers, sure they're fun to have but one or two reliable markers is all you really need.

Keep it simple practice the basics.
Separate your practice from your fun drawings. Fun drawings have style and ARE NOT practice. Your practice has ZERO style and focuses on learning.
These are two pieces of advice that new graffiti artists and even experienced artists ignore and don't put to use yet it would solve all their issues. take this advice and you'll see your work flourish.
