I'm 38 too😀 best time to grow up 80s and 90s..... I'm a bit worry for kids today have to grow up with the pressure of social media - you must be extra tough. Or you'd be sucked into nothingness and lose focus of what's playfulness and what is 'real deal'. Most are growing up so fast!

In the 90's Aqua were absolutely the kings of cheesy yet unforgettable pop songs that have all become classics. This was proof that they were much, much more than that. And listening to it in the second half of 2021, not only is this song still timeless and still one of my favourite songs ever from one of my favourite movies ever, it sparks a yearning in me to turn back time to the 90's when the world was a far better place.

It's sad, that Aqua didn't live up to their true potential. This song is an absolute evergreen. Beautiful voice of Lene and exquisite music of "Turn back time" prove, that it was a terrible choice of Aqua to make "cartoonesque", silly and not ambitious music. If they chose high quality pop instead of cheap disco, they would probably still be popular.

Aqua were an awesome band back in the day, this tune and was number one back in June 1998. I saw them perform this song on TOTP with my school pals must of been 14 years old at the time. 90's were a great time to be teenager days before social media, you can be free and do stuff that no one would not known.

I remember when this was released on MTV Fresh. The vj said a new music video from Aqua and I was expecting another novelty but I was wrong. This ballad becomes my absolute favorite song from them. Now it's 2022 and still fresh.

One of their best songs and yet truly underrated. I remember I was shocked when they released this as single back in 1997 because they were known for cheesy bubblegum catchy songs and all of a sudden they came out with a meaningful amazing ballad. I love all their songs anyway.
Same thing with Metallica - it's hard to believe that a group that became mostly known for "Nothing Else Matters" in the 90s was actually the same group that wrote songs like "Fight Fire With Fire" and "Battery".
Those songs are pure madness and aggressive guitar solos to the MAX.
