This is a perfect example of each member doing exactly what was needed for the song. Ales' bass lines were smooth as butter and man she was into it!. Dany's lead was one of those that you can sing or hum along with (perfect lead in my mind). And Pau was, well....Pau. She brings it every time, as do they all. Loved this great reaction. You guys get it!
I can’t begin to tell you how many hardcore TWA members adore, Show Me The Light! First off, any time Pau’s at the keyboard magic happens. She’s not going to leave the kit unless she can do something spectacular. And Dany. Dany can play rhythm, lead, solo, shred but this hauntingly beautiful guitar work is among her very best! Add to that Ale’s bass work and then the world class harmonies and you end up with this masterpiece!
Another song that hits in the feels, every, single, time. I know they say they have sibling magic, but I'm convinced they actually write that magic directly into their songs.
Dany with her emotive solo, she was channeling her inner David Gilmour. She's stated many times that she is a huge fan of his playing. Pink Floyd's live DVD Pulse was one of the shows that they would gather to watch as a family.
Never heard this song but I was thinking right from the beginning the bass had a pink floyd vibe and then Danys solo confirmed it . So I figured I'd hit the comments to see if anyone else was feeling the same. I didn't have to go to far into the comments to find what I was looking for.
Thanks for reacting to some of their older stuff. This is the first time iv'e seen this. Shows how clever they were with their writing. Ale's bass lines were gold. Beautiful vocals. Yes Dany's solo was incredibly melodic, with the bass in the background was beautiful. Overall love this.
I was thinking the same thing. Pau's keyboard and vocals are great, and Dany's guitar work and vocals are great, but Ale never gets enough credit for her amazing bass work on this song. In my opinion, she holds this song together.
Damn straight! I challenge everyone to listen to it again and focus on Ale's bass lines. She was phenomenal, even at that age. She is clearly a third lead on the song, rather than just an accompanying part. The rest of the song can't hold up without the bass lines playing off the others. 🙂 @@jimschoeff4185
Hey Guys! Pau's soulful and raspy singing and the rhythm in which she plays the piano all add to the sense of pain and longing. Ale's smooth, melodic bass is sublime. Dany's sparse and perfect choice of notes and amazing solo are top notch. But, all of them singing together at the end is pure magic. Incredible song for anyone to write and perform, but at this age it's mind-boggling.
The Warning: On one hand they bring great rock music with a nice hard edge to it that can get alot of appreciation and respect from some of the hardest rockers. Then on the other they bring great ballads that can just break your heart 🤘⚡
This is a gorgeous song. So much to love about it. Pau’s beautiful vocals; Ale’s smooth bass playing; Dany’s soulful solo; and, of course, the lovely harmonies. One of my favorite performances from them. Thanks for the reaction! PS - FYI, small correction, the description says “Take Me Down” which this clearly is not.
I love this song, and Dany’s soulful guitar work just hits so good… Ale’s base lines are just so captivating and colorful that it just draws you in deeper into this beautiful song. Pau’s beautiful vocals and the harmonies are just perfect.
Great! Thank you! Que gran tema de The Warning! Excelente ejecución además, DPA ponen el alma en sus presentaciones. Qué bueno es ver sus reacciones, gracias!
My favorite solo from Dany. Simple but utterly beautiful. Tell me what other person could rock a butterfly shirt and be such a total badass! Great review, guys!!
Even the silents are so enjoyable and they put it just in the right place in every song they use them. BTW your band is so great too guys! Enjoying all the material you got in your channel. Keep rocking! 🤘
Dany does have so much soul when it's called for in her playing. Pau's lyrics again from the heart and her vocal delivery filled with emotion. Ale's bass slides are always so tasteful. Great song. Thanks guys!
@Offset Era, sometimes it's not so much what you play, but what you don't play, there can be a beauty in the spaces - it's what makes that lead solo and bass parts so good )my opinion!). Too many artists seem to think they have to fill every space with notes, which isn't always necessary to produce a good song.
Dany Gilmour always hits me right in the feels. The harmonizing is so damn good. Pau's pitch & volume control of her vocals is crazy good. The keyboard would have been better front & center for sure, but back then dealing with stage gear was a bit different for them. If I think back, it wasn't until just recently, did they ever have a keyboard front and center. It was a stage Hybrid Piano on wheels, and only used for 2 songs, 3 shows, back to back. I could be wrong, and just don't recall, or just didn't see it done before.
I clicked on LIKE before I even started watching, you guys!🤣 I absolutely LOVE this song. One of their best ballads ever, and one of Dany's best guitar solos EVER!🥰😍😄👍👍👍
Man, you guys are just great to watch. Your commentary was so spot on! I still cannot comprehend the tasteful choices made in this composition by essentially, kids. They must have been master composers in another life. Dany's solo, that tone, it's ethereal. Great, great reaction Sam and Chris. Have a wonderful, safe holiday.
This is a truely great song written by a 13 years old Pau just to see if she could write a love song. All 3 are showing their best. Dannys solo. the bass lines all perfect for this performance. Its a pity they do not perform this on stage anymore, although Pau did sing it at a mini concert at a Montreal radio station.
Pau, (Paulina Villarreal), is nominated for Rock Drummer of the Year’” Please spread the word and vote”. At Drumeo Awards 2023 voting ends 25th 11:59 pm. 😎👍
There are so many good recordings from this concert. It's just sad that the piano wasn't out in front of the drums. I really like Ale's style on this. I hear bits of Jaco Pastorius (!) in it, alongside Dany's inner David Gilmour. I really love it when they show their dynamic capabilities. The Warning are really, REALLY serious about their craft, their music, their messages, and their career.
With out a doubt, this is my favorite Dany solo. Her touch and feel when playing and bending each note is a skill way beyond her years. Ale's bass lines are mesmerizing on their own. Pau is awesome as usual, but Dany and Ale really steal the show for me. Not one of their best songs, but I never get tired of hearing it.
Pau has been nominated for best Rock drummer of 2023 by Drumeo awards and the winner of the contest will be announced on 25 January 2024 on the Drumeo UA-cam channel. So if you voted for her Thank you. I placed my vote because i believe she is deserving of the honor. She is going up against several drummers and one of those drummers is the new drummer of the Foo Fighters a band that the Warning have opened for in 2023
Ohhh! Roy Buchanan. I haven't thought of that one in a long time. Almost every modern rock guitar player owes a debt to him for the original sounds he made.
I am not a guitarist, but it seems to me that in the solo, Dany seems to pick the chords with the pick sideways and kind of sliding it, to get that slight pitch up effect.
Just curious...what happened with the video, was there some glitch in the upload? It cuts out part of the beginning and the last few minutes is just black screen. Just glad it didn't affect the reaction itself. Still a great reaction. Looking forward to seeing do the rest of the show. After this you have to see about doing the Liceo show from 2015 when they were even younger
It is hardto find a decent video of this song. They all have Pau back in the corner and the videographer is on Dany's side with Ale blocking Pau. Of course back rhen these are the venues they could book. Dakota bar is tiny, and legally the girls were too young to even he there. They uad to get special permission and they were not allowed to come off the stage. They had to be escorted out after their sets. Well that is the story i heard. I think Dakota Bar is no longer with us.
Dany has mentioned on a few occasions that this is one of the solos she is most proud of.
as well she should.....
At age 13, Paulina was tasked by Pablo, their teacher, to write a love song. This beauty was the result. Pau is a stealer of hearts!
This is a perfect example of each member doing exactly what was needed for the song. Ales' bass lines were smooth as butter and man she was into it!. "Can Ale come out to play?" "Sorry, she's busy playing a masterpiece." You don't hear conversations like that very often.
Paus vocals and Danys soulful solo was so well done .
The Warning can do it all ... ⚡⚡⚡
Danny never fails to surprise with her skill and her heart.
That’s the Power of the Ironbuttefly❤TWA🤘🏼🫶🏼🤟
Dany with her emotive solo, she was channeling her inner David Gilmour. She's stated many times that she is a huge fan of his playing. Pink Floyd's live DVD Pulse was one of the shows that they would gather to watch as a family.
Totally agree yeah watching that big influence on this song .
Never heard this song but I was thinking right from the beginning the bass had a pink floyd vibe and then Danys solo confirmed it .
So I figured I'd hit the comments to see if anyone else was feeling the same. I didn't have to go to far into the comments to find what I was looking for.
@@mikewasko4964 It's cool when you can recognize a very specific influence and later confirm it to be true.
No wonder I like her playing so much. And the influence, now that you've pointed it out, is obvious.
Wish I'd been at the Dakota for this one. This will be in their biography.
I contend that this is Dany’s best guitar work to date.
I agree!
One of my favorite older songs
My favorite song on the album. That solo is everything!
On what album is the song? I want to buy the album.
Thank you

And one of the most original I've heard too.

The Warning has no happy love songs; this one and Amour are the two that come closest.
Dany’s guitar work is masterful. That sound is so ethereal. Thanks, guys!

Dany does a solo performance of this. Check it out. It's pretty awesome.
Nobody puts Pau in the corner.

Exactly. Sometimes you have to let things marinate, if only for a second.
Great song writing with great performance, what more could you want.
I think you guys need to write a song named “Transition”.
That would be awesome!
Yeah guys, do it 🤘
One beautiful song. No need for over the top solos. Soulful sound.
That’s it!!! Escape the Mind and 21st Century Blood is going back on playlist. Incredible!
beautiful song!

Dany makes her guitar sing on the solo.
Great reaction guys, thanks.
There is an acoustic version that Dany does just as heart wrenching
I clicked on LIKE before I even started watching, you guys!🤣 I absolutely LOVE this song. One of their best ballads ever, and one of Dany's best guitar solos EVER!🥰😍😄👍👍👍
You need to hear DUST TO DUST!! One of their best!!!

Una de las hermosas baladas que tiene The Warning.
Gracias por traerla al presente.
Saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina.
The Warning nos une.

Great guys!! Love your reactions! My favorite solo from Dany!
Very special young ladies. I listen everyday to their music in wonder. How do you have all this talent in one family.. they are a wonder..🤟🎶☮️
so touching and delicate,,i heard the drum, don't know if it was tracked or Pau on the keys,,but it fit so well,, the added energy..
That's one of the song I'd love TW to put back into their set list, maybe for smaller venue - but come on! So beautiful, as is Ale's "Take me Down"
Wow but pau is AMAZING ....THE WHOLE BAND IS BEYOND BELIEF WAY TO GO DANY❤❤❤❤❤
TWA has been trying for years to get Ale to sing lead vocals on a song 😀

#freepaufromthecorner
That solo….is just so David Gilmour
🌟
That solo has Pink Floyd vibes!
Dani's solo reminded me of both David Gilmour and Roy Buchanan.
Ohhh! Roy Buchanan. I haven't thought of that one in a long time. Almost every modern rock guitar player owes a debt to him for the original sounds he made.
Dany Gilmour
Hi. The guitar solo reminds me of Pink Floyd or Mark Knopfler...
⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘
I am not a guitarist, but it seems to me that in the solo, Dany seems to pick the chords with the pick sideways and kind of sliding it, to get that slight pitch up effect.
The Warning The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That haunting solo. Has David Gilmour written all over it.
I fucking love you bros! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
i always said that , it's a shame that Pau was back there and on top the camera man never take her on first plane
Why does your drummer never join you? Has he listened to The Warning? Would like to know your thoughts.
My favorite song from the Warning. lie, I don't know which one is my favorite😐
Was it the last song you heard? Then that one is your favorite song from The Warning! Simple. LOL
@@abugewww8013 TRUE😂👍👍👍
Dani looks up to David Gilmour. He is one of her inspirational guitarists
As an allegory I could say that she is the processor of a quantum computer called TW.
Cheers !
🤘😁✌️
Dany is a deceptively great guitarist.
This song should be a "jar" song.
Obviously, whoever put Pau in the corner had a death wish.
