It requires three separate aspects to line up with each other - the testimony, the visuals, and the sensation - which is incredibly satisfying to complete correctly.
Spirit of Justice is a really good game, and I absolutely agree on the visuals! Can't wait to see your reactions as usual. I'm a little sad because this is probably the last ace attorney game for a while. Although there is the "Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright" game. It does have cases and stuff and the characters and stuff are good, but it's...got some flaws, for sure. On top of not being entirely ace attorney.
I would really have loved to play Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright; a game which combined logical courtroom deductions with brain teasers and other puzzles is a game idea that sounds as if it were tailor-made specifically for me. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, I do not have a 3DS and that game is exclusive to that platform.
@@GamingMagic13 It honestly is, I really enjoyed it. The overarching plot is what bothers everyone about it, which is fair. I know why it ended up the way it did but it's still definitely not the best ending for a game. But the individual "cases" are fun, the investigations are a perfect blend of ace attorney and professor layton. A lot of the original characters are pretty damn good. The voice acting is iffy like DD's IMO, I really don't like phoenixs voice, but it was their first attempt to update voices.
I like a lot of things in this game. Maya is back. Trucy gets some attention. Apollo finds his family. The final boss is the ruler of the country who can change the law as she wishes and will stay in power as long as the people sport her and there's some fun characters along the way. On the down side, not one of ,my fav prosecutors. and all of the weird character names are ridiculous. Rayfa was nice, Inga Karkhuul Haw'kohd Dis'nahm Bi'ahni Lawga Ormo Pohmpus Da'nit Ar'edi Iz Khura'in III is the WORST name in the history of the series in a game were every one has horrible names and The Divination Séance is a long animation that confuses many LPers in to clicking on the wrong thing and getting game overs. I my self had to lean heavily on guides to time it correctly. while it does do good and we learn why its good, seeing that full dance and having the demand we never question it wears me out. the best parts of the game actually happen in other places not that country. The DLC cases are a lot of fun. Its enjoyable to take on cases that are just silly and the time traveler case is a fun "Us proving the impossible" case with good old Larry, Maya and Edgeworth. and I rather like it.
Holy Mother, this was a long video. They could easily put a "To Be Continued" before Andiswhathisname appearance. The bright side is that you will finish the game in a less amount of days. In fact, i think the second case will end Friday. So, The Kingdom of Khura'in. Do you know that moment when your main character is too strong now to fight normal people and you had to pull something to keep the keep the story interesting like put aliens, time travel, gods, or something like that? They made this right here and i think it was done amazingly, a whole country that hates defense attorneys and the Divination Séance as the only proof to determinate the defendant's innocense, they even recall the spirit channeling that wasn't a thing for the 2 past games. You will probably find some stuffs that are weird, repetitive or even bad-written as you go through the game, like the main prosecutor of the game(he is claimed like the worst prosecutor of the franchise by the majority of the fanbase, not a undenyable truth, just a really strong opinion), but the concept "Khura'in" itself is really damn good. There are also minor points fun to notice. I like how in this country "Your Honour" becomes "Your Magistry", "Defendant Lobby" becames "Accused Lobby", "Order! Order!" becames "Peace! Peace!". But a weird minor point is that the new pursuit theme is called "Cornering Together" however the whole premise of the game is that the Wright Anything Agency is now separated, that makes zero sense. So... how is your Troupe Gramayre PTSD?
You think this was long? Just wait until Thursday's video. In all seriousness, I do apologize for the length; this episode was initially over two hours long so I condensed it down as much as I could. Oh, and in regards to when the second case will end, the last episode of The Magical Turnabout will be released Thursday at 11:00 AM EST. As for your final question, I hate that game with a fiery passion and will never play it again for the rest of my life. However, since I know why you're asking, I will say that if this game were to center a case around a magic show, I suppose I wouldn't be _entirely_ opposed to the idea.
@@GamingMagic13 Wait, Thursday... THEY DIDN'T CUT OFF BEFORE RETINZ'S TESTIMONY? Damn it, i could sworn the trial was split in 2 parts, this is Turnabout Academy all over again. Now i am certainly sure this series won't last so long. Considering that i am in quarantine, longer videos are actually great, but i understand that a lot of people won't be interested in a 2 hours long video.
Well, the first episode seems to be received well so far and it certainly wasn't short, so I have no qualms about keeping this format the same going forth. But just to let you know, the final episode will release on June 4th at 11:00 AM EST.
Is it just me..or is Gaspen payne worse than Winston? Sure wiston isn't a good prosecutor, but at least he is probably one of the most fair prosecutors and doesn't pull dirty tricks out of his ass. Gaspen meanwhile is slightly smarter (supposedly)...but he seems to be crueler. Hell from what i can tell from this case, he wanted a trial instead of a free win to get PW killed via the defense culpability act and...unless i am wrong, the defendant, a young child, killed again, and i am pretty sure its all because he lost in dual destinies. Wait... Didn't edgeworth say something about Gaspen getting fired or something for his behavior in the dual destinies epilogue? Seriously i would take Winston as a prosecutor over gaspen. Is that just me? Also if i got anything wrong i apologize.
Just started playing this game (big Dual Destinies fan) and I did enjoy this case but I feel like an alien in saying that Andistan'dhin got SOOOOO grating. Everywhere I look people seem to love him but I never felt such go away hatred for literally any other culprit. I legit wanted to enter the TV screen and punch him after the thousandth time I presented perfectly reasonable evidence and all he had to say was ''hahahahaha dumb lawyer''
The Foreign Turnabout is a _very_ strong case, but now that a few weeks have passed since me recording this video I can definitely say that Turnabout Memories is a better case.
3:33 I find it funny how 2 of the 3 outfits are just references to recipe for turnabout, which compared to the stolen turnabout, most fans consider the weakest case of trials and tribulations, just because of its lack of relevance to the overall plot.
For a while, I didn't understand what you were saying, and all I heard was a man trying to explain something/basicly the whole thing and cracking out midways like the 4rd time on the same thing- and getting excited everytime something new is introduced like When will you finally be able to explain to my dumbass what you're on about- and the dialogues are skipped ocassionally before I could grasp it like calm down- but yeah, it was okay.
Wait, there is something I would like to say. If defending is illegal in Maya's country. Why didn't she ever tell Phoenix that.... I mean they, have known each other for almost 13 years. Surely she would have told him that by now.
@@GamingMagic13 Well i still doubt she wouldn't hide that from him for a decade and 3 years? Especially if she knew he was going to visit Khu'rain. But even of Maya never thought to tell Phoenix that. Why didn't Mia? Surely she would tell Phoenix the rules of her own country. If he was learning how to be a defense attorney.
For Maya, I don't really have any other explanations beyond that she didn't think he'd end up defending someone and thus wouldn't need to know. For Mia...why would _she_ know the rules of the kingdom? It was never established that she visited there.
@@tavonlankstrom3270 I... think there's some kind of misunderstanding? The Kingdom of Khura'in is completely separate from Kurain Village, and I don't think it was ever said that Maya lives here? Because she doesn't? Ahlbi even says he showed her around a bit when she arrived...
You mean the whole "no game audio" thing? Yeah that wasn't fun to discover in editing. But it seems like people were still able to enjoy the video regardless.
really like this mechanic, it's like the emotion grid but requires more evidence.
It requires three separate aspects to line up with each other - the testimony, the visuals, and the sensation - which is incredibly satisfying to complete correctly.

This is my favorite first case on the series, primarily because of Andistan'dhin. My favorite witness transformation ever
