Yes! Girl, I went to Europe for 2 weeks carry on only! 25 pound suitcase weight max! Size 24 body, was not easy. But I totally did it and I’m so proud! Props to Airbnb and washer/dryer combos in room.
Thank you. I agree 100%. Everything has to go together. As a plus size woman who is also very tall, I’ve figured out that I roll everything but my pants! I have a weird technique but it works. I can fit so much more in my bag. Fold pants/long skirts in half-length wise. Place in bag with the length outside of the bag. Rotate around so there are four sides. Place all rolled items inside, now fold over. I have fit 2 weeks of clothes inside one carry on. My personal items bag contains my electronics, makeup, etc. I do laundry at my location (cruise ship). This technique isn’t for everyone.
Hey, I roll my entire outfit together so I can just pull out a roll and everything is there. Ex...shirt, pants, underwear and accessories are all roll into one. Saves me so much space and time.
A space saving tip is to use compression cubes...you stuff you clothes in the cube and then kneel in top of the cube to take the air out and voila super compressed and u have so much space left! Love the vids and the new hair style!!

I just started rolling my clothes because I didn't want to drag a big bag around. I was really surprised that it works. My only problem is the summer is that I sweat like there's no tomorrow, I have to pack extra. So annoying! lol Happy travels everyone!
I roll and fold. Certain items I like to travel with don't roll well. Also a tip for jewelry instead of a makeup bag I pack all my travel jewelry in a hard sided large sunglass case. I get cheap but nice one from Diaso. I find it protects some of my more delicate pieces.

Rosa Korkeakangas depending on the type of trip. You know you may need clothing for the day... and very little going out to a lounge clothes. Pack what you will actually wear.
4:55 I completely agree, I'm going through that exact same thing right now. I might be homeless soon and I might have to live in a hotel (if at all) so I need to pack a luggage to live minimalist and I'm going through that exact same thing you mentioned. I always wear the same 2 T-shirts day in and day out despite having a bunch of clothes that I just never wear. I sleep and spend every day with the same old worn out T-shirts day in and day out but now that I'm packing clothes trying to be minimalist, I'm suddenly trying to pack fancy clothes that I never wore before thinking,"This is so soft and stylish, I should put it in the luggage" but then I tell myself,"NO! I have to live minimalist, just put the same old casual comfortable T-shirts that I always wear". Very likely I'm just going to be wearing the same old T-shirts I always wear and if I pack any fancy blouses, I'm not going to wear them so I have to think twice and not put them in the luggage so yeah I completely 100% agree with what you just said.

I fly basic economy and find that rolling makes my clothes too bulky to fit into my personal item. Instead I fold my clothes into thin "planks" that match the dimensions of my bag, stack them into one big plank, and slide that in along the side of the bag. Then I have plenty of room to line up a liquids bag, cosmetics bag, and a bag for other little things I need along the other side. I can pack for five days that way though probably not more than that!

Thank you for honestly being plus size, to explain that I mean I pulled up a couple videos and they were a size 12 or 14 calling themselves plus size now I understand thats considered plus-size but that's not that far off from all the videos on packing I hope you understand what I'm saying by that I mean no offense I'm a size 24 working to be a 22 and lower but at this moment I will be packing as a 22/24 so this is more real to me thank you again i really appreciate it you also had me lol. So glad I found your page I love watching packing videos, however all the people you see are super thin so some of their tips aren’t realistic. Like I saw one a little out ago and she packed 100 items but I’m like that doesn’t work for everyone. I’ve learned in the past year to pan ALL my outfits and take minimal shoes... I use to pack so much junk before. Now I can pack about two weeks into a backpack and that’s a mixture of business, casual, going out

That isn't packing light lol! each size only goes up 2 inches, you need to pick lightweight fabrics and roll tightly and neatly into cubes and bags x
