One more thing you didn't mention: Buying followers actually is just shooting yourself in the foot. The algorithms track statistics from followers, such as what countries they are from and more importantly, what types of content they follow. Usually with botted followers they just follow accounts that buy the service, therefore the content they follow is very varied and completely different from the niche yours occupies. This makes gaining new followers harder, as the amount of accounts your stuff will be shown to is limited and usually someone who just follows make-up channels most likely won't subscribe to your gaming channel. Also salmon is great, it is so far the only fish that I've eaten that didn't taste like kinda stale starch water with some spices in it.
I only like salmon en cruete, which is basically just normal salmon in a pastry covered in sauce, which is very nice, but salmon by itself I think is to dry, have to ladder/lather it in some sauce or cream & then but some pastry on it, then i love it.@@itsgabibelle YNA ftw.

I just realized I have not engaged enough. I'll start with the fish, I absolutely LOVE salmon. I come from a rural fishing village and salmon is an absolute staple. As for the buying followers portion - I never told anyone this but I bought followers for my old best friend, but her real followers (which I think outnumber the followers I bought for her back in like 2013-14, at this point) are actually so active and engaged, no one noticed. I'm just glad that didn't impact her negatively and low-key to this day I feel guilt for it.
Having many views but nearly no likes or comments on UA-cam could also just mean that they advertised their content and it did not reach the right people or just wasn‘t good or those people just didn‘t bother liking the original video
I would like to add a kinda flaw to the video..I make edits of tv shows and movies and one of my videos skyrockeded (maybe not in most peoples opinion...but i got like 230000 views on like one video) however i only have one comment on it and only like 364 likes...i wish more people actively interacted with it instead of just watching and leaving but it was a totally natural fluke, none of my other vids get anywhere close no matter how hard I try, and whats even WORSE is that i barely spent any time on the one that went semi viral. but who knows

So on Instagram, I had 3 reels go viral. I gained over 20,000 followers from those three combined. But still 99% of my reels only get a few thousand views and like 100 likes. So it is possible.
The other problem is that when the people in the right positions of power with the right amount of money buy followers and falsify popularity, it actually works to kick up someone's popularity as more people find them. That's what Travis Scott's production team did. He didn't blow up organically.

It's a dead giveaway when they have a million plus subscribers, yet videos that have been up for two or three months are sitting at 20-30 thousand views. That means only 2-3 % of your followers are actually watching your content. As for comments, I rarely ever leave them on You Tube because, well, nobody is going to even read them, so what's the point?

During 2020, I was presented with a lot of offers on IG to gain more followers. It was quite amusing. I have been on IG for over a decade and just found that to be so amusing. one time I clicked on a ryland adams video about baby names like a minute after it was posted and there were 20 - 30 comments that were VERBATIM the same thing. They all said something along the lines of “Bethany is a great name. I knew a girl named Bethany and she was the sweetest, I loved her to pieces” meanwhile the usernames were like CLICK HERE FOR S33X. The only reason I noticed was because of the “loved her to pieces” part. Very nice Ryland.

During 2020, I was presented with a lot of offers on IG to gain more followers. It was quite amusing. I have been on IG for over a decade and just found that to be so amusing. With all the bots now, it’s clogged with trash a few humanoids want to interact with.

I kind of suspected, but I tried it anyway, and it made me so depressed/embarrassed. 🤦 The shame.. I stopped posting for so long bc of it. 2/10 don't recommend, too sad, but sometimes people are mildly impressed with my 1k follower robots 🤷

sorry about the second comment. I do want to comment on the part about views. When I look at a video I almost never look at how many views it has. In fact I can not recall a time that I have ever paid attention to that on any site.
I create music, and do it for fun, and not too bothered to get many followers
If people enjoy my music, then thats icing on the cake
