and the fact that new players (like me) possibly got jumpscared while cat lon proceeded to one shot their character (yes, i did not know he was a ENEMY and he atacked you when he finished saying his speech, luckily i saved earlier so my humans and beep are still alive)
I think the worst part is Cat Lon genuinely believes what he’s saying. He’s so delusional he can’t see what a monster he’s turned into.
To be fair, spending a good +2000 years wallowing away in guilt and regret doesn’t really lead to a sane and healthy mind

Now, every time there'll be a wreeeeeing skeleton destroying my party consisting of me (a hiver soldier with a comically shaped head called 'Sand'), Ells and Sadneil, I'll imagine Quills' magnificent wreeeeeing. It's a piece of art, really.
That, at the end, does not sound like a scream of sadness nor regret, honestly I can't even think of an emotion that is supposed to convey.
It’s a scream of his last vestiges of sanity dissolving into the void.

It's either the scream that signals cat_lon's last, or the last scream you'll ever hear.
It's not sadness or regret, it's letting go of all vestiges of sanity, just breaking into primal rage out of the depths of his desperate broken soul.

A) I didn't expect this from this channel.
B) I LOVE THE VOICE ACTING.
I can feel the pain and Suffering that Cat-Lon has endured; and all of it really shows the damage it's mental state jas taken, it reminds me to Darth Maul in multiple ways I love it.
BTW I didn't say it earlier.
But even I can feel that buried beneath all the anger and madness he is regretful for it's actions against humans and his kin.
Poor Cat-Lon.
I want to actually play just go give him an honorable death and make his suffering go away.
This is exactly how i imagined cat-lon, with a robotic but not emotionless voice that makes it obvious that cat-lon is indeed mad
i always imagined the 'wree' as more of a mechanical buzzing noise, but i think this interpretation is better
