I absolutely love watching these speedruns it's very impressive to see how fast you can breeze through each run the seeds sometimes may be garbage but you seem to always make them work. Also got to love how the first section of this run was completely devoid of any food and then when you enter the nether your being chased by an entire countries worth of BBQ.
The SA2 Security Hall was a good touch for the Monument. "5 Minutes should be plenty", and if you mess up, you -blow up with the island- get 5 minutes of mining fatigue.
Its so interesting to learn abt all these strategies. Im not very good at video games but this is so fascinating and its cool to watch someone who clearly cery good at what they do
Problem with monument runs is that you rely on Piglin barters for all your obby. In a normal run most of your obby doesn’t come from barters, but from bastion chests. So remove the bastion chests, you’re almost never getting 20 obby, even just 10 is hit or miss. 8 gold blocks can also be a bit of a stretch to get all your pearls, explosives and fire res. At least as much as people have come to expect in modern runs. Even stables which has the least gold blocks offers more than this, and there’s always a chance for a block or two or extra ingots from chests. This is ultimately part of why it fell out of the meta after making a splash for a hot second. Nevertheless, it’s always nice to see the typical formula get spiced up. Great thing about modern versions is that all previous strategies still work in it. How about a cleric 1.16.1 run!
my pb is ~18:24.1, any tips on how to improve? I don't use ninja bot, and i play rsg. (never actually recorded them, but used timer) yo and also, will you try getting back to rsg instead of playing every seed for 1 day after 10k runs? it will be so nice to see you play good seeds XD
@@Bits.Gaming. i did and mine is 1 hour and 16 minutes but it was a trash world and took me like 32 minutes of running to get to the nether them after that i managed to get a decent nether and managed to 1 cycle somehow idk how when nowadays its like a 1/10 chance of me 1 cycle instead of 100% back when i had demo minecraft lol but yeah 1 16 49 my pb maybe i could try getting the stuff again for speedrunning and maybe get a better pb :)

My pb is 42 min i started speedrunning 2 weeks ago (i almost got a sub 30 but chocked)
