After a LONG time shopping around I bought the Headrush pedal board a few weeks ago. I cleared out the factory rigs and have been playing with my own settings. At least half of my rigs are based on yours. Thanks!
It's definitely got the best interface of any of the other pedalboards. I just don't understand why it doesn't get more love. All I ever find are videos on the Kemper Stage and the Helix.
Thanks for the comment John. This is a good point, I do tend to overlook the cab section purely because for the most part I use the same IR on my presets. If I find a cab sound I like I tend to stick to it because with a real rig, that’s what you’d get. But I will make sure I mention that in all my vids from now on. I appreciate the feedback. 🤘🏼
@@DaveWebbMusic thanks Dave for the reply but by mistake I wrote cab and I meant gab in the sound between switching scenes or rigs cause I have a lot in my head rush
@@johngeorgiadis3339 oh I think I understand. Unfortunately when changing presets (and scene in some cases) the board needs to reload & recall all of the elements, which is why there is a slight gap. You can get around it using one single rig and changing things within that rig. I will do a video on this in the coming weeks.
I recently read, on Reddit, the cause of occasional auto-turn-off-power-internally-surprises, is due to running the thing with it’s WiFi turned on. Turn it off & reboot. Methinks, HR may have a update bug fixing patch by now.
Thanks for watching! You can have 4 presets, along with 4 individual stomps or scenes within each preset when in hybrid mode. Firstly put the rigs/presets in the order you want them and they will map accordingly. Then just go into ‘hardware assign’ and put the extra things you want on the bottom row, & they will then show up within each preset. 👌🏼
@@DaveWebbMusic how the heck do you get the presets in the order you want? I have a clean preset that i made and i want that on the 1st button. I want to put the stadium rock preset on the second button . Then a heavier preset that i created on the 3rd button. I cant figure out how to save the presets in the order i want. I put my clean on the 1st button. Then i search for stadium rock and try to save to 2nd button and i loose my clean on button one. It now has stadium rock on button 2 and 3 other presets on buttons 1,3 4. Im sure there is a way to select specific presets and assign them to the 4 buttons. I just dont have a clue how to do it.
Aaah I see. The way I’ve always done it is by making a set list with the patches I want, and then arrange them in the order that I want them. It takes a couple of goes sometimes because the order of the board is very specific. I’ll throw a quick video together and have it up over the next few days. Hopefully you are able to get it working before them.
Hi Dave, Great vids! How the hell do you get out of hybrid mode? I really don't like it but I can't figure out how to get out of it! Sorry for my ignorance but I'm new to this digital world. Always used a traditional pedal board! Thanks!
Hey man. Glad you’re enjoying the vids. 🤘🏼 You just press and hold the bottom left button. It will then give you all the options across the bottom row. Press which layout you prefer.
Oh right. How annoying. That’s definitely how you do it. I just tried mine and it didn’t work straight away, it just scrolled presets. I tried again a little firmer and it went into the view options. My tuner every now and then doesn’t come on, so I have to give it an extra solid stomp, and then hold. If your rigs are scrolling while you’re trying, then it’s not going into the ‘hold’ option in the button. It also takes a good second or 2 to engage. This may sound dumb, but try to press with a slightly different angle. I can’t find another way to change views, so if you can’t get it, it sounds like a button issue. Good luck!
@@DaveWebbMusic I just figured it out! You have to go into Global settings under Hybrid mode you need to make sure it's set to normal, not revrs and that will solve the issue!
I was using the jack outputs and most often do. I occasionally use the xlr outs. Because I use Cubase I find the USB to much of a hassle with monitoring with my setup.

Wow man! That’s really cool!
I am so thrilled. 😎🤘🏼
You are totally welcome. Happy shredding!
Well done. Keep the Headrush content coming.
Thanks!
It sound incrediblely great !!
Yeah👍🏻 I play the Pedalboard one year and i think this is the best device out there

Another great video!
Thanks man! Let me know if there’s anything you’d be keen to see and I’ll see what I can do. 🤘🏼
Yes sir rock on!
So Good .. Thank you So much
Always nice presentations !! but please can you tell us what are you doing about the cab sound that there is when you change scenes or rig!!!

I have one, and like but when ever I use distortion effects there is crazy humming noise. Any idea why that is?
Sounds like typical distortion hum. Try adding a gate or noise filter.
If that doesn’t reduce it, check your lead and connections.
how the eff do you get back to normal mode
Hold the bottom left button and select RIG mode.
That doesn't work on the Prime.
Is it possible to replace the TEMPO switch with another stomp effect?
I don’t think so. It seems only the 8 buttons in the middle that are assignable to patches and fx.
Great video. How do you assign the rigs to the switches in hybrid mode? I would like to use a couple i have created along with some presets

I have mine set to Reverse, & I don’t have that same issue. How bizarre!
Anyway, so glad you got it sorted.
Dave you're seriously not helping me out in avoiding buying one of these again! 😂
😂 well you know my thoughts about just buying everything.
Gibson Les Paul you are using?
Sure is. My LP Custom I got earlier this year. 🤤
are you recording from the usb or mic or the outs?
I was using the jack outputs and most often do.
I occasionally use the xlr outs.
Because I use Cubase I find the USB to much of a hassle with monitoring with my setup.
