Mt Elgon Clashes: A conflict of the haves and the have nots

The Land question in Mount Elgon and the trouble of insecurity are often intertwined. It is a conflict of the haves and the have nots on one hand, and a fight for fair allocation of land on the other.
The government has now given an eviction notice to thousands occupying public land in Chebyuk settlement scheme, to pave way for surveyors and a task force that will oversee their resettlement.

While you're at rock bottom lying down. You're consumed with jealousy at your neighbour who's at rock bottom barely standing up. It's soo sad.
