@@jokester3076 Ghouls don't get radiation sickness, they ghoulify and become immune. i'm guessing Thadeus took a compound similar to the one Hancock took - no sickness but within 24 hours he was a ghoul. there are 3 ways to become a ghoul (so far) according to lore - radioactive mutation, chemical and the Dunwich Borers method (Fallout 3 and 4) involving Lovecraftian stuff.

It's never explicitly stated but enough hints have been given to suggest that Hank replaced Betty as Overseer when she retired and that Steph was supposed to replace Hank when the time came for him to retire. Also, nobody said that Rose opened the outer door of vault 32 just that the Pip Boy that was used was registered to her.

The trap door that dropped them into Vault 4 was in Hawthorne Medical Laboratories (a subsidiary of the Vault-Tec Corporation). It was built to lure people looking for medical supplies.
I really like the fact that both of the primary romantic couples in this show are interracial and nobody in the show or the viewers made a big deal about it. I didn't even realize it until I saw an interview with the cast.
In short, there are a lot of villains in the fallout universe, and some of them were started with good intentions, they just succumbed to the weakness of human nature.

And that short exchange with Thaddeus about fiddle music, when Fred talks about how "rich" the "original recordings" are, and we're hearing the screechiest, most annoying version of the violin short of an elementary school kid practicing right before a parent comes in and stomps the instrument into toothpicks. Then Fred says, "The _mids_ !" 🤣 And you know the sound engineer had just _shut_ _off_ the lower mids, and the bass, and turned everything above 3k up to eleven. 😂 And Thaddeus nods, knowingly.
