Much rather hear more of the impressions and less of the narration.Sorry
These fooks ruin all their videos like that honestly.
100%
Agree
It would have been nice to just be able to see the impressions.
Right who the fuck wants to listen to the stupid commentary over the top of them?!
Yeah, terrible video. I wish she would've just shut up and let the clips play.
Hell Yes. Mojo BLOWS ALWAYS!!
Agree.
You don't like 4 minutes of useless information between each 20 second clip?
Too much talk from the narrator. Just introduce the clip and show it.
I opened comments to say EXACTLY the same thing..unfortunately UA-cam is rife with those who love the sound of their own voice
Was thinking exactly the same thing.poor quality. The clips were too short.

Agreed. Once the clip starts, don’t talk over it either.
You know what would be neat? Actually showing the impressions instead of talking over them.
She can't show the entire impression due to copyright
Neato Burrito
I actually laughed out Loud when Eddie Murphy told Stevie Wonder "watch this..."🤣🤣
Yes but there are better clips on UA-cam. Type it in.
"actually"
ME TOOOO!!!
More cow bell was my favorite
@TasteBuddiesChef "literally"
My favorite part of Will Farrell as Janet Reno is him making his voice deeper to play her.
Sheri Oteri never ceases to crack me up! She’s just brilliant!
You forgot one of the best impressions when Jimmy Fallon did Mick Jagger. Jagger speaks to “himself” in a mirror asking for advice. Truly hilarious.
Yes!
20 - Did he laugh when he had John Lennon killed ?
John Belushi as Joe Cocker hands down I have no words
U got that right!!
Best part of #11: according to Jim Breuer's autobiography, when they actually met earlier in the week, Pesci confronted him about the less-than-flattering impression - showing particular disdain for someone who wasn't Italian doing such a spoof - in a manner almost to the sketch; while Pesci then assured him he was just fucking around, to this day Breuer believes he was absolutely serious.
Joe Pesci is funny, like what, like a clown? Does he AMUSE YOU??? 😁😁😁😁😁😁
I remember watching that sketch! Now this is Joe Pesci show!
Personally Tina Fey as Sarah Palin will always be my favorite. So spot on.
I always thought Lisa Ann did a great Palin 😂
@@marcoskolioulis3522 Yep
What makes you qualified to handle international relations? “I can see Russia from my porch.” Or wherever it was. It was so Caribou Barbie Palin.
It'll go down in history. I bet Tina Fey will have that on her tombstone.
Note that the two do NOT actually appear together. As I remember, Palin's hosting appearance starts with Fey AS Palin, she's told Palin is actually THERE, Tina hightails it away.
Tina Fey playing Palin was so spot on. I did t even know that was Palin standing next to Baldwin.
I love how these Mojo videos talk about the clips then show maybe 5% of the actual clip. "The greatest bit is when Aniston and Bayer synchronize...it's amazing!" "Oh man, can't wait to see this clip". Skips ahead. Thanks Mojo ya damn tease.
Was thinking the exact same thing. So annoying.
Definitely disappointing.
Why is it so difficult for you to see a preview then find the full video yourself? Its not that difficult.
@@AphasicMute Well, it's not ... if you have the time. But 20 separate videos? Sorry, my days (and life) are a little fuller than that. If they'd just let the video clips play vs. all the commentary over them, it would solve the problem. Cheers!
I think there is a copyright issue. If a UA-cam channel only shows a little bit of something that might make people seek out the content put out by the creator, then they allow it. If they show too much, then the creator (copyright owner) can get the video pulled. Mojo has to walk a fine line.
Mojo explaining each impersonation: 3 hours
Actual impersonation moments on this Mojo video: 3 seconds
Yeah, that broad does like to hear herself talk, doesn't she?
@@aspenrebel It's as if she suffers from daily Verbal Diarrhea. Unfortunately, Pepto Bismal does not cure that type of Diarrhea.
Agree, I stopped watching, 90% was her yapping.
The video is 25 min. Every reference can be found in full on UA-cam. You seem disgruntled without cause.
@@tabaxikhajit4541 poser
I have long loved the Belushi / Cocker skit. I believe that at some point in reference to Belushi's work, Cocker stated that "Mockery is the sincerest form of flattery."
Blushing an original not ready for prime time player
Belushi an original not ready for prime time player
The Walken bit is amazing! So many impressions of him but the family reunion beats them all. Should have had Jay Pharoah as Denzel in there.
Jay Pharaoh as Denzel was AMAZING, but I don't think he ever did it in front of Denzel himself. I just realized... that's something that I need now.
Andy Samberg as Mark Walberg was the best. Then Mark confronting Samberg was epic. Say hello to your mother for me.
I'm surprised they didn't show that, especially as it occurred literally moments after the actual Sarah Palin was talking to Lorne Michaels in the sketch listed as #2 in the video.
I just listened to a interview with Norm MacDonald he said that the origins for the celebrity Jeopardy sketch originated on SC TV and Eugene Levy wrote it original sketch
Fun fact
Had Norm stayed on the show, he'd probably be on this list: Burt Reynolds was very much a fan of Norm's impression (which he actually used on My Name is Earl to play his son), and there were plans to do a Jeopardy sketch where Reynolds would walk on stage, deck Norm, take the podium...and be an even bigger moron than the character.
Half Wits for the win 💟
SCTV is the greatest skit show ever, period. Thanks for the fun fact re: Eugene Levy!
the best was Mic Jagger & Fallen looking at talking to each other in the mirror. That was the best impersonation and both Mic & Fallen, cracking up the entire time.
Eddie Murphy " Watch this..." 😂🤣 And Stevie "OK.." 😂
John Belushi did not impersonate Joe Cocker. He is a freaking mirror image of him, vocal-wise.
And don't get me started with the Jim Carrey impressions from the entire cast. HILARIOUS. 😂🤣
The Jim Carrey reunion one was really memorable. I loved it.
Dave Matthews was a great Ozzy 😂😂😂
He was perfect. That one made me laugh!
I always died laughing at Phil Hartman as Frank Sinatra. To bad Frank never went on the show.
And Sting impersonating George Michael- “look at my butt!”😆
Definitely Andy Samberg doing Nicolas Cage. I still go back and watch that one every now and then.
That’s high praise.
@@10640404 perfect
agreed
One of my favorites you may have skipped was Will Ferrell as Actors Studio Drama School Dean James Lipton from Inside the Actors Studio.
Yes!
Yes!! That was great!!
John Belushi doing Joe Cocker and the fact that Stuff was the back up band, never been topped
I saw cocker and stuff on THAT tour.... OUTSTANDING
How about more showing us how good the impressions are and less telling us how good they are.
Also, Tina Fay as Sarah Palin has to be #1, it transcended SNL like no others.
Not that it's a good thing, but it's just the way WachMojo operates.
It shouldn't! We need to see the impressions not hear about them! Ty
How could you miss Fallon doing Mick Jagger in the mirror during cold opening? Hans and Franz with Arnold?
Mick pointing... Hilarious as heck
I agree that scetch is actually funnier than the one they showed here. 👍
The skit with Pete Davidson and Rami Malek impersonating each other needs to be on here.
Oh yeah, just a few weeks ago.
That was freaking inspired. 😁
Cheri oteri is HIGHLY underrated as a comedian. Doesn't get talked about enough, imo.
Dave Matthews as Ozzy was great! Belushi as Cocker was spot on. Jagger as Richards, Brewer as Pesci, Murphy as Stevie Wonder. The Barry Gibbs segment was a hoot. And Fallon just does all the impersonations and singing so awesomly.
Thanks for telling us what we just saw
R.I.P. Alex Trebek, may god rest his soul.
Exactly
Absolutely
69th like
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 my tear shall fall for this beautiful man
Will Ferrell impersonating Trebek is/was my favorite
You missed Norm McDonald as Bob Dole. But the bigger omission was David Spade as Michael J. Fox. He nailed it and Fox's reaction was awesome.
Or Spade as Teri Hatcher - While she played him.
I thought that was Dana carvy
And Dana as Dennis Miller
I especially love the voice-over most of the impressions, so we can know that they good, because narrator said so.
One of the most iconic impressions I remember is Dana Carvey and Tom Hanks as Dennis Miller (when he was still doing weekend update)
Jay Pharoah is an impression master. He does do well with all the impressions I've seen him do. Pleasure to watch.
I've got the Christopher Walken skit saved...its my go to whenever I need a laugh🤣🤣
Chris Kattan did Kerri Strug in front of Kerri Strug after she won the Olympic Gold Medal. He was supposed to be her brother Kippi.
Jimmy Fallon doing Barry Gibb and then Sir Barry shows up unexpectedly. Classic.
Belushi-Cocker should be higher. John was a genius.
You know sometimes when I look back at that Tina Fey Sarah Palin impression it makes me wonder if they weren't slightly related somewhere down the line cuz it's spot on in looks and in the actual impression so to get mixed up between the two it's not that surprising. Like if Tina Fey randomly says "we're going to do a segment where we walk on the streets of New York as Sarah Palin" everyone would not have realized it's actually Tina Fey until someone said it to them
IIRC, I literally saw a fake McCain/Fey sign the day she was placed on the ticket.
Yeah, I have trouble telling them apart.
Eddie Murphy teaching Stevie Wonder how to do Stevie wonder. Too funny. 🤣🤣🤣
The Barry Gibb talk show made me laugh until I cried
I'll always remember when David Spade impersonated Michael J Fox in front of the genuine article. Spade came so close to making Fox break.
The Janet Reno Dance Party bit where Janet Reno broke thru the wall and danced was hysterical...she looked like she was having such fun. The apJoe Cocker showed more of Cocker than I wanted to see...for sure.
I know this goes in the other direction, but Dana Carvey and Tom Hanks impersonating Dennis Miller on Weekend Update is classic!
I never knew which person was the real Sarah Palin when Tina Fey played her 😂
Neither did the people “quoting Sarah” when they were actually quoting Tina from snl.
That's why it should have been #1.
👍 You are not alone, my friend. You are not alone. Truth.
Darrell Hammond's "Bill Clinton" was a standout.
He’s a super underrated performer in general
@@KristenDETW Agreed!
@Master_Petes_Theater....Hammond does a better Trump than Alec Baldwin...
@@user-hr1gw3qr8w I agree! No comparison.
I’ve always liked sketches like these. It adds another layer to the whole thing. Especially because you never expect it.
Loved the end line, "No, I'm Walken." Lmao
How is Jay Pharaoh only in honorable mentions??? For a minute in that skit I thought he actually WAS Kevin Hart’s son. 😂
All of his are great
I wish we could’ve heard more of the skit than the host of Mojo.
Holy shit, I couldn't agree more! Let the content speak for itself without doing so much talking over it.
You left out the bit with Jimmy Fallon's impression of Mick Jagger as his mirror reflection. That was funny af.
Mick pointing... Lol
Fallon and Barry with Timberlake was the bomb....these guys are monster talents
OMG Janet Reno and Christopher Walken are both hilarious love it
I saw a lot of these LIVE(on TV) growing up..... They were so OOOOOOFFF the chains for that time. Always had you laughing and saying WTF at the same time...... They did things that was outside the border of everything on Television and it was fun. Remember, this was when there were only 3 Networks and PBS... and they signed off at 2AM with the Jets and National Anthem.......................Barcode........
I can’t believe the brilliant Darryl Hammond as Clinton and Gore plus more didn’t even get on the list. He was their best impressionist.
because the real Clinton and Gore never came on the show when they did the impersonation .. thats what the list shows
Belushi as Joe Cocker, hands down my favorite!!!
One of my favorites was Norm MacDonald doing Bob Dole with Bob Dole.
@chrischarette8725.. .dan Aykroyd actually does a better Bob Dole
I liked the skit with Michael J. Fox being impersonated in front of him as Marty McFly
Tina Fay has to be my favorite..she always did an amazing job! Great video, I miss those snl days.
Lmao Eddie saying “watch this”😂😭 Jimmy as Barry Gibb was one of my new favorites, didn’t realize how old the clip is lol. Loved the cast playing Jim Carry, Adam Sandler, and Christopher Walken. Need more cowbell! Driving? No I’m walken😂🤣
This was so addictive to watch...I was gonna skim it but ended up hooked watching these impressions v. the 1/2 show I was GONNA watch XD
Just one week before this video was made, you had the skit with Pete Davidson playing Rami Malek while Rami Malek played Pete Davidson. How did that not even get an honorable mention, it was hilarious!?!
I had a smile on my face and giggles through out this whole thing! Thanks
I guess it’s not exactly “in front “ of them but when Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro showed up on The Joe Pesci Show it was a classic moment. And Jim Breuer as Joe Pesci was spot on!
We absolutely LOVE Cheri O'Teri.
20: Dana Carvey as George H.W. Bush
19: Bill Hader as Dave Matthews
18: Vanessa Bayer as Miley Cyrus
17: Abby Elliott as Zooey Deschanel
16: Vanessa Bayer as Rachel Green \ Jennifer Aniston
15: John Belushi as Joe Cocker
14: Will Ferrell as Janet Reno
13: Will Ferrell as Alex Trebek
12: Mike Myers as Mick Jagger
11: Jim Breuer as Joe Pesci
10: The Entire Cast as Jim Carrey
9: Eddie Murphy as Stevie Wonder
8: Jimmy Fallon as Barry Gibb
7: Cheri Oteri as Judge Judy
6: Jimmy Fallon as Jerry Seinfeld
5: Cast Members as Adam Sandler
4: Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton
3: Andy Samberg as Nicholas Cage
2: Tina Fey as Sarah Palin
1: Cast Members as Christopher Walken
Thanks!
9:54 mick jagger stands out as an impressionist master. Think you were going for “Mike Myers” there
Fallon did Mick in front of Mick in a mirror image sketch, way better than Mike Meyers.
I love it when a famous actor or performer shows how they have a great sense of humor. I believe that adds positive karma to them.
Just the best. LOVVVVE all of these impersonations…..and SNL cast members.
Top 10 funniest Johnny moments from Ed Edd and Eddie lets be real rewatching it as an adult Johnny was the funniest character
Or Ralph lol 😆 Johnny and plank are also equally deserving.
Tina Fey as Sara Palin was awesome
This stuff is SO funny, it brought tears to my eyes.
I thank God for SNL!!!
John Belushi doing Joe Cocker was the funniest skit ever. But Janet Reno dance party was a close second.
I miss the old 90's SNL cast. They where the best of the best.
One of the best, but not THE best.
It’s only gonna get worse due to how sensitive the world is about everything
And Sandberg as Cage.
Nah! The Original cast was the best!!!!
@@aspenrebel Especially CHEESEBURGER CHEESEBURGER CHEESEBURGER!
You’re missing Norm MacDonald and Bob Dole. Also David Spade played Michael J Fox in a sketch that also had Fox in the sketch as well.
Omg that was just a great video, thank you! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time🤣
Tina Fey's Sarah Palin impression is in my opinion easily the best. Heck at times you can't tell them apart.
Thank you so much for including the Amy Pohler line from the Walken reunion 😂
OK, I’ve never heard of these “family reunions”, but now I’ve got check them out. They look hilarious.
Maaaaan, hell yes - Belushi was freaking TOPS playing Joe Cocker! Chills, truly.
Fun Fact: My cocker spaniel was named Joe! My dad's a musician...
Hell, he named his best friend's german shepherd TG (i.e. TG Shepherd) 😅👌
Not sure if it was mentioned among all of the comments already, but Jimmy Fallon impersonating Robert DeNiro and then DeNiro sneaks up behind him saying, "I don't talk like that...", Fallon pauses for a moment, and says in DeNiro's voice, "Yes you doooo..." 😅
Horacio Sanz doing Ozzy was the absolute best!
Yeah, I'm gonna miss not having him being shown anymore.
Thanks guys for this, I needed this 🥳 Made my day
I loved when Eddy Murphy had Stevie wonder taking pictures in a commercial so easy to use even Stevie wonder can take great pictures
Fred Armisen as former NY Governor David Patterson - I cry real tears every time I watch!! 🤣🤣
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 10:52 The Joe Pesci Show was always hilarious to watch. 🤣
I remember watching that sketch w Zoe Deschanel at the time and cracking up so hard! Same with the Jennifer Aniston's. Vanessa is one of my favourites!
Nothing in American television will ever top Janet Reno busting through a wall and shouting It’s Reno Time
Lol I loved the sketch where Justin Timberlake played Jimmy Fallon (Fallon was playing Jim Parsons in the same sketch and literally ended up facedown on the podium cuz of how much he was fighting not to laugh at Timberlake's impression of him.) the two are best friends IRL if I'm not mistaken
I seem to remember Fallon crouching behind the podium rather than going facedown, but I can't find that particular sketch on UA-cam. The camera cut to where he would be and no one was there.
The secret to a good Walken impression is to act like your reading off a board to the side of the camera.
I would add Dennis Miller singing "Jingle Bells" in a 3-part harmony with himself being played by Dana Carvey and Tom Hanks.
Doesn't exactly fit since Miller was the weekend Update anchor at the time, but we loved it.
Everybody as Christopher Walken!! Especially Amy Pohler!!😂😂😂
Eddie Murphy: "Watch this." 😂😂😂
Honestly don't know why Tina Fey as Sarah Palin wasn't number one. I literally could not tell them apart that episode until Fey broke character.
I don't think it'll ever get funnier than Get in the Cage with Nicholas Cage & Nicholas Cage! I could watch that a hundred times. That's high praise!
John Belushi was perfect and petrified doing his Joe Cocker in his midst.
In a stand up special years ago Dana Carvey talks about meeting Bush Sr & how much the guy loved his impression of him. It’s really adorable
