      Impressed with this. You have all the elements to do a half marathon, you were running 5ks in September right so run 3 days, strength 2 and rest 2 for 12 weeks? Bigger challenge. Run, strength, run, rest then run, strength, rest each week. If you want someone to do it with, send me an Insta @Meg_Hikes

    Huge mate! Very well done and super entertaining to watch :D
    Little tip for anyone wanting to execute them for theirselves;
    Start with aided pushups (knees) or on an elevated surface (stairs, table, kitchen counter) and slowly progress into the regular pushup.
    For situps and squats just go full ham and enjoy this challenge.

    Seafood diet. I see food, I eat it. 😂 that’s me. I had to stop stocking my pantry with bad foods and snacks, swapped for “boring healthy” stuff. But since those were the only choices to graze on, it’s not so bad, and got used to it, it helps! Keep it up 💪

    • @Vixologic
      @Vixologic 4 роки тому

      Yeah of course hehe. When your body is used to a high amount of fats and sodium, that’s what it will keep wanting. That pack of crisps, chocolate bar, maccy ds drive thru...
      It’s all about self control, tweak your options, control cravings, and honestly it does gets easier.
      I don’t advise strict diets, one day waking up and deciding your onto salads, chicken breasts, boiled eggs and calorie counting. Change things slowly when you are ready to.
      Overtime your body and mind will adapt to new habits and becomes part of life :)

    Well done for sticking at it, really enjoyed the Vid....shame you stopped at 30 days. If you were doing sets of 10 yes I agree it gets too easy, I think you should have up'd the reps as the weeks went on, do 30 or 40 press ups and sit ups on your first set, i.e. to failure on the press-ups, then do the same number or reps for the squats and sit ups. I am 2 weeks into this and doing 1x30, 1x25, 1x20 1x15, 1x10, and aiming to do it in less than 20 minutes.......may have to throw in 100 burpees as well each day 😱 or a run ......

    Very good video. Well done your extremely driven. Its very difficult to eat healthy when you live with family and they keep baking and buying in choccy biccies etc. Try eating bigger protein meals and filling yourself up with chicken turkey and big protein shakes. Other than that, try getting the family on the diet with you. Get them to buy less snacks (unless there healthy ones) try cooking a load of food at once for the day. Other than that you'll need to move out lol.
    As for the training, your clearly on it and good at it. I would say the most effective training with no gyms available is biking up a hill or walking up a hill. Preferably at the warmest part of the day if your looking to leaner and ripped.

    you had the right idea! you shouldn’t the challenge again, only this time adding 15 more of each every 6 days, that’ll take you to 190 by the 30th day! the results come both in the frequency of the workout but also adding difficulty as you plateau! as a bonus, it keeps things from getting boring!

    I know it was the challenge to do it every day but if you were hypothetically looking for results doing it at most 5 days a week would allow for your body to heal a little. Also keeping a consistent diet is imortant and the best way to keep it consistent is just worrying about calories at first and then start incorporating healthy foods when you get more used to eating at a deficit.

    I used to drink diet colas every day 15 years ago. I've used to have terrible headaches. I eat well, no junk food but I eat too much. Too much of a good thing, right?
    So, I stopped drinking colas and on a weekend would buy 4 beers or one bottle of wine to last for the whole weekend. My headaches disappeared completely. There was a time when I was really in shape but now I'm overweight. Gotta stop eating a lot and exercise more. Hopefully your experiencewill be an inspiration for me and so many others.
    My only advice: try substituting colas ( they wreck havoc in our bodies)for something else: decaff coffee, teas, water and a bit of alcohol.
    Great job on the pushups, situps and squats.

    If you have access to fresh produce, perhaps it would be an idea to swap out some of the non-protein food with some veggies such as carrots or smoothies with sufficient fibre to help make you feel more full. This will potentially deal with cravings in between larger meals and may even replace meals altogether depending on the nutritional composition of the food itself.
