Yes it was like Resident Evil mixed with Jurassic park 😂😂😂 I dunno why but the first Dino crisis scared me more than RE1 and RE2 both combined 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
When Regina said "We were just attacked by a big ass lizard" sounded so real. Superb voice acting by the actress because that's totally what someone would say in that moment.
I can't wait to see Dino Crisis two. It is tragic to hear that Regina, Rick, and Gail didn't understand what really happened to Cooper as he was killed at the beginning of the mission.
the cutscenes looked crazy good for the time actually. all the visuals were pretty impressive. The models and animations are awesome and even the lighting and sounds in this game were great. It’s like a forgotten masterpiece from an era of videogames that dont get much appreciation anymore, but it took an enormous amount of talent and passion to create something on this level back then. Seeing this brought back to life would be unreal. Ideally if remade in the engine used for Resident Evil 2’s, given the same treatment and attention, the Dino Crisis remake would be outstanding. Most people wouldnt even know what it is but i have no doubt it would be a success.
Man, I'm 25, playing Dino Crisis for the first time, and I never thought anything could still scare me. As a Resident Evil fan, it's a huge oversight that I wasn't familiar with it until now.
I missed this game when I was a kid. The japanese mystic sci fi horror games were way popular from the late 90s & early 2000s. Still love them. Good thing I played this games. Gaves you to experience about its coldy & eerie atmosphere of the game.
@@KittysuitSavesthePrincess I played this game today after many years and it is still anxiety inducing for me. The fixed camera angles and the wonky controls make it even worse.
When I was a kid I was terrified by dinosaurs, no thanks to Jurassic Park. I even cried watching my dad played this game because it was too scary. Yet here I am confronting one of my childhood nightmares lol. Great playthrough as always!
Resident Evil clones were all over the place back then. Dino Crisis is a shining example of how to do it right. Which isn't to big of a surprise since it was also devoloped by Capcom. I also loved the second game which felt completely different. Thank you for doing a no commentary run. Many of those are just cringeworthy.
I'm surprised this got a sequel considering it's way more Papers, Please than I remember. It looks so sterile when the player knows basically all of the tricks front to back
This was my first 3D modern game on a console as a kid. I used to have NES, genesis and then my mom bought me PS1 on my birthday and I played this game for the first time. I was blown away with graphics and how modern/cool it looked, couldnt believe my own eyes that i could witness those graphics on my TV lol. Actually its one if the best looking games on the console, it almost feels like an early PS2 game. It looks neat, stylish and everything has pretty high amounts if poligons. The game itself still holds well to this day too, its better than the majority of new survival horror games. Also it has this cryptic and mysterious atmosphere that makes you recall the game even after 25 years
I've never heard of or seen this game before. I like it. Old games like this have a nice pacing to them. I also enjoy how the T-rex felt as an enemy: unstoppable and always lurking SOMEWHERE in the facility. It was just a question of which door it was behind (also, it's aggression felt unnaturally strong, as if bringing it over from another time also did a number on its mind, making it an even more outlandish foe than just a dinosaur). Obviously the player knew pretty much everything about the game to fly through it so, but I'm sure a new player would have spent a lot more time of searching and puzzling. Great game and enjoyable long-play. Time to check out the second one. :)

Yup! You can easily spend 8h on your first playthrough :)
Just got this game on PS Plus Premium. I haven’t played it since the PS1 back on release and had forgotten just how many codes and puzzles the game has. So I am thankful for this walkthrough
Still mad no one is talking about dino crisis at all it's a great game that DESERVES a remake or remaster. Honestly name another game that has done this RE style about dinosaurs and it ACTUALLY works
Thank you for this channel. Love the no commentary playthroughs. I cannot stand the content creators that are annoying as hell talking through the damn video.
Me being too chicken to play this alone along with resident evil 2 so I had my brother sit with me. Miss him so much. He not dead just lives in a different state now.
12:26 - 12:37 I’m still dying 😂😂😂😂 as a 37yr old just hearing this after not playing this for so long 😂😂😂😂 one of my all time favorite games both 1-2 that really need that RE treatment!! Badly WTF are you waiting for capcom!!!! . both one & two Dino crisis are my resident evils for my era . I didn’t really see any appeal in the zombie craze of games or movies they aren’t my thing anyways
Ahh Capcom abandoned Gem. I remember playing this at launch. We used to call it Dino Resident Evil I never played the obscured Part 3. Onimucha was another series that used this same survival Horror game Style.
Wow, what a flash back!! I think I liked #2 movement style more, but enjoyed the horror aspect of #1 the most. Watching the graphics and texture styles, it just screams RE2 & RE3. Remember that Ragina costume you could get for Jill in 3? LOL.
I played this back in the day and I was only 10 but I memorized all the password in every door and unlocked all clothes and different endings. I remember my father and brother asking me about the passcode in every locked door everytime they play and I felt like I was an Artificial Intelligence like Umbrella red queen or some shit lol those were the days 😂
Omggg i was searching for this game i remember my friend invited me to his house we were like 8 yo and got so scared that we had to close the ps ahaha finally found the game ty for sharing :)
Happy New Year 2022
Happy New Year SHN 👻
Happy New Year
Happy new year you too as well...
Buon anno e felicità!
GOOOD VIDEO
This was my favorite game as a child. I would love to see a reboot like Resident Evil for this game too.
You mean remake like Resident Evil 2-3 remake?
Me too
Mine too 😄 (showing the age I think)
Yes it was like Resident Evil mixed with Jurassic park 😂😂😂 I dunno why but the first Dino crisis scared me more than RE1 and RE2 both combined 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
That would be awsome
When Regina said "We were just attacked by a big ass lizard" sounded so real. Superb voice acting by the actress because that's totally what someone would say in that moment.
FACTS, it was very authentic
PS1 on a CRT in the early 2000 with your friends, some snacks and cola and your evening was in the bag!
Ah what a nostalgia. I still remember played this game with my cousin in early 2000s. This is a masterpiece !
Still hoping that someday Dino Crisis and Parasite Eve get remakes
Me toooo!!!!
Strongly agreed with you...
Me three!!!!!
NOOO. They dont require to be remade. What we want are new ideas not continuous rehashes.
And remake of fear effect also
Watching this at 32 years old in 2023🔥👌 brings back memories when I was a kid🥺
Same here, my friend. It was one of the first games I bought with my own money. Also, one of the first games I never finished due to being scared 😅
My door always creaks when it opens, and every single time it reminds me of this game.. such cool memories
When I hear the same door creaks on television I always think back to this game!
I can't wait to see Dino Crisis two.
It is tragic to hear that Regina, Rick, and Gail didn't understand what really happened to Cooper as he was killed at the beginning of the mission.
Cooper was one of my favorite characters... my favorite moment was when he was eaten by a T Rex
One of the Games that needs a remake like RE1,2 and 3.

Okay but y'all remember your first time playing and that first T Rex jumpscare in the chief's room?

I loved this game back in the day. A remake would be amazing!
This game was one of my all-time favorite, way back in the day...such great times
I like how the player doesn't give a crap about the velociraptor at 11:27, and just is like "fuck this, I have more important stuff to do", lol.
As a kid I had no idea what was going … only the fact there was dinosaurs everywhere. So I just felt like I was at Jurassic Park in my head I guess.
52:29
"Its unbelievable."
"Didn't I tell you?"
"This is just like that movie..."
😆😂🤣
Welcome to Jurassic Park 😂
I adore this game. Where the hell is the reboot capcom??
I feel like capcom is only focused on Resident Evil and Street Fighter. It’s sad game like this is completely forgotten ☹️
Capcom trying to figure out a way to make everybody gay and people of color or women.
I lost it remembering how many times Gail has to point his gun at Kirk. 🤣
Nothing beats The Dino Crisis 2 Intro scenes.
Thank you very much
Such an under-appreciated gem 💎 🦖

Get a PS one emulator and get the game
@@MadMax-yq9ix yea i have been thinking about it
Really? lol. If you said Resident Evil 2 or 3 I would believe you but this? Nothing scary about it.
@@mattl3531 i was a child, matt. i was a child vs the dinosaurs. it was terrifying.
@@KittysuitSavesthePrincess I played this game today after many years and it is still anxiety inducing for me. The fixed camera angles and the wonky controls make it even worse.
Nice to see another video! Wish we could get a Dino Crisis Remaster/remake.

Man, I loved playing this game so much when I was a child 🎮
Man, this story and characters are so well written
1:52:51 I love how HD reveals the writing on the signs to be Director of Creative and some of the names of the team! 🤣🤣
god 😂 never noticed that
Best childhood game, when I first played I was scared. Anyway it's the best game
I'm surprised this got a sequel considering it's way more Papers, Please than I remember. It looks so sterile when the player knows basically all of the tricks front to back
I was just watching your old DC video!!!!!
Nice one to bring back the memories
Good work SHN
Really nice. Good old nostalgic memories. Well done and thank you. 😁👌👍👏

This game deserves a reboot. Or a remaster. Or a remake. Do it, Capcom. Please!
2:47:28 This is where I became stuck! Thank you for showing The Way!
Such Nostalgia. 👍💯
Awesome game, I don't know why they haven't Remake this game as yet.
I'm here for the voice actors, they are the best!!!!!

Eyyy i played this as a child... i forgot it already thanks to this hahaha
I'm surprised this game never got a REMAKE.
Not a priority for Capcom
@@ShaneDouglas713That sucks… a remake would be cool.
@@matt_tron1014 Agreed
Dude just the way you understand the puzzles is so fucking confusing , GOOD JOB ! 🌹💥
Yeah the puzzles in this game were more harder than the ones in RE games

I think now is the perfect time for a new Dino Crisis
Agreed a remake will do better if they decided.
I hope they put more character in the game
This game you play was 80% mixing items 20% play the actual game
We need a remake of this now!!! Cmon Capcom listen to the ppl!!! Great video as always @SHN
52:33 movie…..🍿 🍿🍿🍿🍿🫨🤔roll em!!!!😂 I always thought that was a funny pun 😂
I love dinosaur games and also horror games. Dino crisis is a real gem.
Would love to see this get the RE2 treatment. Imagine if the shutters or killing were the only ways to stop the raptors chasing you room to room?
10:34
that moment when opening that door was the last thing I wanted to do
Man need this game a Remake, back in the day when I need to write down the codes on my pocket book just to memorize when do speed run on 2nd attempt
Scientist A: They are the perfect weapons.
Scientist B: Nukes?
Scientist A: .... mother (expletive deleted) dinosaurs.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Even an hd remaster would be cool
This is what really needs a remake. With same engine as re4 remake. 🔥🔥
3:01:45 and her last words we're just a passcode for a weapon part 😂
Happy New Year Survival Horror Network Guy
Cmon Capcom ! We're waiting on the remake ! This classic has a strong fanbase!

Dino Crisis fanbase: please Capcom remake DC
Capcom: Another RE remake
In a nutshell
Played this as a kid long time ago. So now I'm playing again, like I never played it before. Dino Crisis 2 coming next, after finishing this game..
I thought it was a new Dino Crisis for PS5.
So much nostalgy, but I prefer a remake of this game!
Thanks for sharing
Save rooms were such a vibe.

Watching this again made me want to play it again and I beat it in 3 hours without saving.

I used to play this during rainy season while on a blanket. Good old days! ♥️
We need such a remake of this game
