You made a mistake on the residue you get on heating the residue. ZnO is yellow when hot and white when cold. On the other hand,PbO is reddish brown when hot and yellow when cold. I'm so happy that you corrected the errors in the first video. Thanks so much for the boldness in making the video.
For pbo to turn red...you must heat to about 400-480⁰c ( you can't heat to that in ur lab)
Infact, your gas level in the lab won't even allow you do that..at >400⁰c you should have red led(iv)oxide [pbo2]
Big thanks to you and may the Lord continue to increase you🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
🙏 amen... & you too... all the best
Thank you sir
You taught me what my teacher could not teach me 😊
God bless you ❤❤
It's my pleasure
Thank you 🙏 sir may God bless you richly ❤🎉
Amen.... God bless you too
Sir I will make sure i follow all procedures during my exams
Hope I get a good performance in it so that I will come back here
Definitely....
Thank you sir for this understood it more from the practical I need in school..thanks
You are most welcome
More Grace sir. So are just so good. May God bless ur good works.🙏🙏🥺💙
Amen...God bless you and yours..
Thanks... God bless you too
Thank you sir for the revision
With what you are doing every serious student must pass
Thank you sir🎉❤
Does anyone know how we are supposed to deduce the content of C. Say we are asked to state the contents, how do we know that it is (Na2CO3 and Pb(NO3)2. Especially since we didn't test for Na+ ion🙃
Most welcome
Well explained, thank you sir
You are welcome
Thank you sir you taught me what I did not know before
We all learn daily... a continuous thing, not a definite destination.... the world evolves daily, so we learn daily & get better than y-day
Thanks for such a wonderful video
I appreciate
God Bless You
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thank you so muchhh!!!

You're welcome!
God bless you sir

Thank you sir 😢❤

Thanks sir....
Please sir I want to know how to make my table and find my reading
Check last lecture on that ua-cam.com/video/cf1rf72EAzw/v-deo.html
also....a final lecture video on titration drops in 2hours....
Chin up
Thank you for the lesson sir, it was really helpful
And I like the song you played before the lesson
I don't know if I can download it so that I can listen to it ❤🎉
Oh....you welcome....it's a custom made sound
Thanks, so elaborate
Thank you
And also, among the listed requirements for each school, BaCl was required...
Yes that's normal lab reagent...does not mean...all reagents will be used
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Thanks for the video 🙏 but where does silver trioxonitrate (v) from tge syllabus come in?
AgNO3....not involved.... here
Since it's not chloride
@@300plusacademy Ok, thank you sir
One question
Is it okay to write Under observation that a pale green solution is formed when FeSO4 was added to the filtrate and then brown ring when conc. H2S04 nwas added
Just write about brown ring....
The inference for 3iv is wrong
Only Al and zn form gelatinous pb doesn't form gelatinous .
So the inference should be al is present or confirmed
I spoke on that in the video. ...
Okay then
Sir will you be making a video for Alternative B practical?
Yes
Trying to get biology out of the way first
That should be moist or damp blue litmus paper .... Gases will not have effect on dry litmus paper....
Okay 👍
It is Zn2+ and Al3+ that gives gelatinous ppt
Ca2+ and Pb2+ gives white ppt......
Ok
This is actually making sense 😮❤
Sir, in New school
Zno2+ -when cold is white and yellow when hot
While
PbO2+ - when cold is yellow and red when hot
Red...if you can heat to >400⁰c.....
the heat you have access to in the lab...can't even reach that before you break your boiling tube at max 140⁰c for pyrex glass..
So deaden this red colour idea already
A question Sir, For the brown ring test, you wrote NO3- confirmed.
But someone else told me it's actually NO2 from NO3- that is confirmed.
Is that also saying the same thing?
Yes same thing
Sir, you know we ended up identifying NO3-, would we also have to find a way to identify Na+?
No visible reaction for Na,k
@@300plusacademy Ok, thank you sir
Thanks, this is really helpful.
You welcome
Thank u sir 😊
Most welcome
I think PbO is red when cooled
Why did you not write anything concerning; the second portion of the residue+dilute HNO3
Check final hints
ua-cam.com/video/LrUD3PtIcfE/v-deo.html
I did though
Thanks, but I think Pb2+ gives black ppt on adding HCl
Unfortunately NO...
It gives black ppt on ethanoic acid
Sir don't we have to show what happens(i.e record our observation) when we add FeSO4 to the filtrate first and then record what happens when we add H2SO4? Won't we lose a mark if we don't?
Check the videos....I did record observation for that
thanks
You welcome
Funny I'm here on the day of my exam
Well...😂😂
All for the best....
But that question 3v KMNo3 can be used.
Nope
This is alternative practical right
Nope....real practical
What about the Na+ ion?
No visible reaction...for k+ & Na+ using NH3 or NaOH...
So you will not be testing for Na+
So no flame test needed?
Should we put down the equation when doing the question
The equation will naturally come with the question...
It will be given
From the previous videos, you treated the volumetric and quantitative analysis, but what of the qualitative part?
There are two videos on qualitative analysis

Why can't pbco3 dissolve in water
Cos all trioxocarbonate CO3²- are insoluble in water. except for Na2co3, k2CO3, (NH4)2CO3 which are soluble in water
I appreciate a looooooot🎉😢😢😮
Most welcome
Sir in the inference can we write that C is a mixture of sodium carbonate and lead nitrate? Or C is a mixture of Soluble and insoluble salt
Never mention sodium carbonate and lead nitrate....it's not your business....
C is a mixture of soluble and insoluble salt simple
❤❤❤
Is this the exacT question
Take seriously....your exam questions is going to be a replica of this
Sir we did the practical today with our teacher and we got a white chalky filtrate instead of colorless, and our teacher said we should go ahead with it. What went wrong?
Oh well....it's left to you to decide
He didn't filter it well
My teacher filtered it twice for it to come out well
Sir give us the end point
Ask ur instructor
Thank you sir
Welcome
Is this the real salt sample
Yes
How show are you that this is what is going to come out
I have been doing this for over 10years...
Though not on youtube...& it's always been on point...
Follow who know road...
M asking the same
So can I be sure 100% or 95% that this is actually going to be the questions@300plusacademy
It's from the yellow paper
Hi, good work. But in the specimen provided, there is no conc. H2SO4 so how will the brown ring test be carried out?
It is provided
My teacher was using it today
Just an oversight by waec...
Fond of doing that
It's white cloudy or chalky precipitate sir
I explained that in the vid already....
Pb²+ & backed it up with 2008 waec 2d...
New school chemistry used "white powdery".
@@kelechiezeorah4619 ok
Sir u are wrong u only get a yellow color when filtrate reacts with potassium iodide paper
Nope...
K2Cr2O7 & potassium iodide gives same yellow precipitate
Nice one
Thanks for watching
Thanks sir
Welcome
Thank you very much sir,

With what you are doing every serious student must pass
No 3iv the inference is wrong
Only Al and zn form gelatinous . Pb doesn't form gelatinous in the inference Al is confirmed
Sir give us the end point
Use that of your instructor
Thanks sir

That's if it actually comes out this way on Thursday 😢
