Lentejas Estofadas // Lentil Stew

Hi there! Welcome to my channel and this video! This is Lentejas, a truly soul-warming Spanish stew with Lentil, Chorizo, Pork, Carrots and Potatoes. One of my favourite things to make, ever. Think of it like Spanish Monggos if you’re Filipino like me. Great for a warm soup belly! Thank you for being here!
Ingredients:
300g Lentils
500g Pork Shoulder (something with fat)
2 Semi-cured Spanish Chorizo (or more)
1/2 Onion
3 cloves Garlic
1 Tomato (grated or use 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce)
3 Bay Leaves
3 medium Potatoes
2 large Carrots
1/2 cup Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
*Optional: Serve with splash of Vinegar or to your liking.

Naglaway ko nag tan-aw Chef ☺️ especially pag-add sa vinegar. Lentil soup is very famous here sa Saudi Arabia. Didn't know about it until I started working here 12 years ago. Learned another dish today, hope to try it. More Chef 💕
