This is the opening track of their second album. Makes more sense with the cold piano opening when you understand the placement of it in the album.
This album, of their three, has the best lyrics throughout imo. Something really cool is that their first two albums have official instrumental versions. I would say check those out in your free time.
Drumeo, on UA-cam, has a session with the drummer and he does play through of sections of their songs. This song is in that session. I would say check that out to see some of the fills 🤌🏼

This song is soooooo good.
Vessels Voice really pops on this one.
One thing to note, what is your audio source for the song? Spotify?
You might wanna look into bumping up the bitrate, audio quality of the source song used in this video is quite low.
Many details get mushed together and you'd appreciate II and his drumming even more when it's crisp and high-bitrate 😆

Great reaction! Not sure if anyone commented this yet, but Vessel, the vocalist, is the one who writes all the music aside from the drums. He writes the guitar, piano, and bass, on top of singing and writing the lyrics.
