Canik came out and dominated the competition and will be on top for a long time. US manufacturing companies are having a difficult time keeping up with Taurus 🤣😂🤣. Their only argument is I like Glock, there's so much parts out there.🤦 They never owned a gun that needs nothing
Most of the "US" companies you're referring to are actually Austrian, German, Italian, but they do have US manufacturing. I think when Canik scales even larger, they may end up building a factory too. I'd also like to see Sar and Girsan take things seriously like Canik has, as far as marketing and after-service.

Heck the military don't even trust made in America guns that's why they used Beretta and now Sig. Turkish firearms is where it's at, quality, reliability, and value. And Canik is on top
But the biggest problem with the METE is that it only allows micro red dot sights which is the biggest flaw. For a full size competition gun you want a RMR or SRO footprint compatibility.

The only thing Canik did wrong on this gun, and the standard SFX, is not having a rear sight if you run a RMR. Mine is the standard SFX. It's a great gun.
Like the ambi slide release, optic placement (same as sfx), mag well, tool kit. Just wish the holster was ambi, but not a deal breaker. Have 2sfx now need this!
I agree. I'm left handed and wish they had a left handed holster but yes not a deal breaker. When I bought an Springfield XD years ago that came with a holster and I called the company to see if they had any left handed holsters and they shipped it with no questions asked. I will buy this and see if Canik will do this too.

You really can't beat the price on this gun for what you're getting $680 right now at classic firearms I don't really get why there's a need for gloves though.

I'm in love! Canik makes an awesome firearm. I have a TP9 SF Elite (stock) and l love it even better than my Gucci Glock 17.

Only fanboys love glocks. Canik is a nice pistol and will definitely have a home in my stable.
Biggest problem is this one loses the rear sight with a red dot where the Mete does not.
