      @B S luetin and arch had a small disagreement over dawn of war 3. Arch criticised a video of luetin getting preview access, luetin got defensive then there was a multi video spat between the two. Was very very silly and could have been avoided if luetin hadn't acted like an sjw at the time.
      It's in the past now though, arch was proven right about Dow 3 looking like a moba and I believe luetin became humbled by it.

    _Only 8 escort frigates?!_
    I've played enough of the Battlefleet Gothic Armada video game to know a couple Luna-class cruisers and 8 escort vessels just feels like a recipe for disaster (unless it's a Mechanicus Fleet, in which case you want to _SPAM ALL THE FRIGATES_ to soak up fire/damage for larger Mechanicus ships).

    • @CoyoteCamouflage
      @CoyoteCamouflage 5 років тому +45

      BFG balances out Escorts by largely delegating them to a support/cannon fodder role. In lore, a pack of well-captained Escorts can easily threaten many capital ships, especially since the chief way Escorts manage this is through targeting of vital sub-systems like engine, void shield emitters, and, with luck, the bridge. Escorts are best when used to cripple enemy ships, not to outright destroy them, which is why they are dangerous in a capital-ship line battle, since the danger they represent is usually understated when compared to enemy capital ships.

    • @LordInter
      @LordInter 5 років тому +25

      in the lore, unlike in bfg, the frigates are much smaller and much faster. Furthermore they did have the two cruisers in support. Two 100% repaired and ready to fight immaculate craft v the chaos ships.

    When you crave an animation of the Void battle (I feel like Arch has done a video on Void Warfare and Imperial Ships but I can't find it again if I have actually watched it). But I can imagine the scene of the Anarchys' Heart sat there in the dark waiting for the ambush.
    The camera pans back from the Imperial flotilla as it trundles through the quite pin-prick lit darkness and as the view pulls back you notice a subtly empty of light section at the bottom of the screen; suddenly lights flicker in this dark as the monster stirs, its prey in its clutches and a (screw the physics) immense whirring of power fills the audio before the massive lance batteries unleash cut the noise and scream out towards the frigates. The camera chases and accelerates past the lance shots to the caught flat footed Swords and we get a shot of the lances slamming home into the first pair, parts of the hopelessly outclassed Frigates being ripped off and flung into the void as decks are melted through and critical components erupt in catastrophic fireballs.
    Ughhh, I need this made. Someone more talented than me get this shit done.
