Im currently studying for my vtne and I appreciate the resources you’ve shared. It’s nice to see a fellow tech relieved and get their license, if no one has said it yet im proud of you! You did it!!

Congrats on passing your test but to anyone in California trying to take the VTNE DO NOT use vet tech prep!!! It’s a waste of money and I did hundreds of questions and several tests every single day leading up to my first test, I’m now about to take my third and haven’t had much luck so please try other options before wasting that much money on VTP. The aavsb practice tests are AMAZING help but also don’t have many questions as you have mentioned. I’m still struggling to find the proper study material so I can finally be registered but of course everything is different for everyone!!

Agreed!!! Complete waste of time. The VTNE was nothing like vet tech pre.

This is so weird because everyone I've talked to has said VetTechPrep was the best study tool. And don't they have a guarantee if you use 100% of the study materials and fail you get your money back?

Almost done with Penn Foster's 1st semester... but VTNE prep is about to start for me now so that way I can be warmed up. You motivate me so much! I'm finally single, not trying to find another boyfriend, focusing on school and getting where I need to be!

Another great supportive video that was very informative for me!
It was a great pleasure seeing your vet technician journey here on your channel.
The studying tips and test taking techniques were very helpful ❤
I'll have to keep those in mind when I, too, take that state exam and do some good studying to pass the exam.
    Keep us posted!

so proud of you!!! it was so fun seeing your journey. i have been a subscriber for almost a year, but made sure watch all of your videos! i am in my second semester of tech school and OOF!!!! but your study tips have definitely helped me :) nice to also hear about your study tips for the vtne. i think the vtne review books/tests are the best way to go... my schoolbooks have so many errors (pharm book has nonsteroids in steroids...) and mccurnin is SO overwhelming and dry. congratulations, again!!

Congrats!! Thank you for sharing your tips and all of your knowledge the last couple years, please don't stop making videos! I'm currently a first year- second semester student in Wisconsin. I did a semester at a different school and it was terrible so I transferred but none of my credits were able to transfer for the core classes :( I got a long way to go before I can take the VTNE of course but You are an inspiration to keep going!

Back a year later and rewatching this as I start to study for the VTNE. I have two other apps/websites I found helpful: Cleverorcavt, this one is cheaper than Vettechprep and it has a comprehensive review built in! As well you can get pocket prep which is by AAVSB and is pretty cheap as well for only 3 months!

congratulations Mikayla!! :) i passed my VTNE 2 months ago first try too, i primarily used the aavsb practice tests (versions c and d) and vet tech prep, soooo worth the money, i even had some of the questions from those tests on my actual vtne

Congrats on passing, Mikayla!! What an accomplishment after so much hard work! It gives the rest of us reassurance that we can keep going too- I’m not close to taking the VTNE yet, but this definitely made me have hope! 🙏🏼 I’d love to hear what your dream/goal position in the veterinary field is- what type of place you’re hoping to work at, what species you like working with the most, etc. Maybe a future video idea! Either way, keep up with all the great work!😊🐾

thank you so much for your encouragement!
I have gone to tech school and landed my first job in vet, studied & taken the vtne but didn't pass.
Overtime, I guess you can say I lost hope, but I have now been in the field for 4 years on/off and just recently had I started looking into studying again to try to become registered.
I truly hope this time I stay true, as it is my passion, so thank you for your pointers!

I’m taking my VTNE august 1st! I haven’t started studying yet so I only have 60 days now to study. I’m thinking of purchasing vet tech prep the 90 days one anyway and starting to study next Monday. So about 58 days to study. I really need to pass this test to feel like I can live again like you! ❤ I’m gonna have to cram a lot and reading the books again does not sound like something I’m going to survive doing so I’m hoping vet tech prep is a nice guide to help me study the domains. I just got paid and starting to work 30 hours a week starting next week which is two surgery days. Super stressed but I think it’ll help me learn in person too. Hoping to pass since I feel like I don’t know anything!!

@@skylerp3 not gonna lie I only studied for like a month seriously. I passed my VTNE the first of this month!!! Vet tech prep definitely was my savior. I recommend the AVASB tests too they have the questions on quizlet for free if you search it up. But the test itself you have to pay for but gives a good feel for the VTNE, I never bought one but used a friends results to see how it was formatted. I took a 5 min break during my test to calm my nerves mid way through the test, your time will keep running if you choose to have a quick break though. I’d definitely recommend doing it though, it helped me process my stress a bit and focus on the last stretch of the test. Keep going, you got this!!! (Again this is my experience, if books are your thing I’d recommend mosbys comprehensive review book! But I just used vet tech prep and studied when I could like lunch breaks and any time off and worked in clinic)

@@jackirific3600 man I sincerely appreciate you for your feedback. I’ve been studying through books my job has given me because I work in a animal hospital. Since I’ve done the training there and got the house, they put me through the online situation for months and then I qualify for the exam. I work so I know sh!t yu know and I graduated college with As, Bs, n a C or 2 so my study habits are great *flash cards usually* but I just want to confirm with yu. The vet tech prep app that I have already has a green back ground with the head of a dog and cat side by side facing to the right. Is that the one you used?
