Where do you rank Shaq in a list of top NBA players of all time? Does he make your top 10 list?
Easily top 10 all time imo.
He makes the Dream Team! One of if not the best Big Man to ever play the game. Shaq and Kobe is one my favorite duo of all time...except when they played my DEEEEEETROIT PISTONS!!!
Top 5 prob if not defo top 10
Incredible!!!!
Easy Top 10
The amount of patience that is put into this pond is unreal! One thing after another and it doesn't stop you guys from making sure it is done right
This entire project is absolutely insane. So freakin cool!
Was waiting for your update! This build is epic. Can't wait to see the final reveal. Great job y'all
Thanks for sharing Ed, what an amazing project. I can't wait to see the finished pond and the big SHAQ reveal!
Shaq is a icon you guys made his yard A1 perfect
This is an awesome build, can't wait to see the final product and see Shaq's reaction. I'm even more interested in this project because Shaq is a cool cat, he's great with people. Top 10 greatest players of all time but #1 in sportsmanship to his fans. Huge fan growing up.
Wow! Incredible amount of work in such a short time… Can’t wait to see it up and running!!!
Shaq is in the top 10 forsure. But, Ed the Pond Professor is number 1 with Pond Aquascaping
I just love seeing all the CERTIFIED AQUASCAPE CONTRACTOR come together and go bigger than normal. I can't wait until i'm a certified aquascape contractor.
Such an awesome story you’ve told here! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this incredible undertaking! You are an incredible leader Ed, hats off to you sir 👏👏👏‼️😍
Love Your Work always amazing me ...cannot wait to see saq pond when finish
Absolutly mindblowing!!
Chapeau my good friends!!!
It’s always fun and interesting working with you Ed. Can’t wait till the next time 👍
ALL BUSINESS IS FIXING PROBLEMS. I felt that.
I love that this video popped up while I was watching nba news videos. This is very cool.
Nice work overcoming the challenges! I hope Shaq likes the end result.
watching Ed's videos , i learn more everyday. Thanks for the content
sooooo amazing Ed ...i love your videos and pond building artistic skills and knowledge ✨✨🌊🌊🐊🐊🌴🌴🌞🌞💧💧🐢🐢🐍🐍🦎🦎🌳🌳💚💚🐸🐸🦦🦦🦐🦐🦆🦆🦉🦉🐌🐌🦋🦋🧠🧠🦾🦾🐟🐟
super fun to watch
This stuff is so cool. Please keep posting videos
With everyone creating videos for their own UA-cam channel, I’m curious how any progress actually gets made.
Is like “ok guys we’re just working. Put your phones away!”
2 hours later
“Alright guys, let’s take a 15 minute break. Be sure to document everything for UA-cam!”
I love this series
Amazing project! You guys are the problem solving masters! I wish I could afford a pond from you for my turtles.
Over the past 30 years of Designing and building ponds I’ve seen a lot!
&
I’ve learned a lot…..
What a lot of work, just WOW. Thus will be beautiful
I would absolutely love to see an overall time lapse of the overall build when it’s done!! (If you have the footage)
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!!! Ed you're a machine
Thanks!!!
🙏🙏🙏
Shaq could use some cabinet mountain stone from North Idaho his pond. The contrasting colors would be amazing.
Amazing project.
I really hope Shaq paid for this pond. Because I see no point in giving a man that has EVERYTHING a rec pond this size for free.
Sounds like you've already decided...
Cant imagine aquascape could just pay for this pond for the advertisement benefit. This pond would cost a fortune.
In the video he says all those guys have volunteered their time. Ridiculous.
You have crazy knowledge, proper professional
Amazing vlog.
You guys were rocking out big times! 😯
Incredible!
Thanks!!!
That pond is huge!
Shaq is one if the best Humans, ever. much respect💯🇺🇸
Shaq is a top 3 Most dominate Athlete ever!!!
mix in some timelapse of the guys working... its hard to watch. No Shaq either, thought he would stop by and talk with the guys and show face. Really just want to watch the project being built, so far I can't even tell you what shape it is going to take.
Pretty cool
I was just thinking about this pond and here you are posted 7 min ago.
Nice!!!
👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!
The perfect job for the Pond Professor!! 😅👍🏻
Guy running to porta potties at 8:44 in upper right corner lolol
your team is doing woderful piece of ART love you from 20,000 miles away.
Very cool im from Chattanooga!
I wish you could show us footage (or at least longer footage) of what your talking about while you talking about it, especially for the water fall. Love the videos thank you for posting and teaching about how building ponds work
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
👏👏👏
Nice job guys
Thanks Mark!!!
We have been interesting to see how the liner was repaired after you had to cut it to fix under it.
Thumbs up for the thumbnail!
💯
I'm trying to imagine Shaq holding a regular putter...lol!
I don't even want to think about how much something like this costs. Whew. Shaq's earned it, though. He's a hard working guy. So are you, Ed. Holy cow, man, you must have played with a lot of building blocks as a kid.
300k
@@emildelacruz ain't no way at least a mil or more.
@@emildelacruz
I was thinking more around 5 million with the price for all those workers, heavy equipment, and a million pounds of rocks.
Lol..
Ed...you probably had a rock collection...I do!
@@BenDover-do8qr Bamabass 5 acre pond was 1 mil
💯🔥💙👍
🔥💕👍
Shaq x home Depot👀
Ed, can you share the waterfalls and cliff face locations? North GA has some beautiful rock facings and waterfalls 😃😃
Get a 20 ton excavator with a rototilt..would make things alot easier.
Whoa - how much did you spend on the rocks? How how about the shipping/trucking to the site?
Top 3
Ehat are the thoughts around using polypropylene instead of EPDM in this pond. Is it obly used for a section? Or the entire pond
I need final lmao
Next Saturday!
@@GregWittstockThePondGuy don't threaten me with a good time 🤣
Rank him as #1
Hey! Absolutely amazing job!
Btw why don’t you use a regular epdm liner here?
How fun spending other people's money!
I need some of those Volunteers for my project
If anyone ever needed a roto tilt attachment on your excavators it’s you. That with a grapple would cut your time in mo than half
Shaq and the Pond professor are both national treasures 🙌🏻🙏🏻
wow
Hi Ed, On the Universal Aquatics channel I saw that you installed 2" Check valves with 2"x3" adaptors to the 3" Flex. PVC pipe for all the pumps. Since Aquascape makes 3" Check Valve Assemblies, why didn't you use them?
min 15:00 look at that tadpole swimming from left to right at the middle bottom of the frame, between 15:00 to 15:02 it just leaves the simulation
That waterfall should have been 7′ 7″ wide.
Seems like you could have seen the compacted soil probably coming…
I want to see the invoice after this is all done.
Surely Shaq could move all the stones at once right?
He's Superman! He's gotta wait till dark to discreetly use his superhuman strength
@@DawudAmunRa he sure would be invisible in the dark 🙂
@@wezlo8733 Hilarious! And you're going to Hell! 😆
If I had the $$$$ an acreage, I would do something like that but have it connected to a 20-30-acre bass pond.
My nigga Shaq just wanted a big pond and got a resort little park 🤣
You reach a millionaire status where, buying rocks is a freaking thing….. I ain’t even think of something like that
Why isn't the ground water used to supply the pond, rather than draining it off? Beautiful work.
Why did you not use the flexible Epdm
Poly is one sheet and will work for a large area where you don’t need as much flex
how do i become a certified aquascape contractor? me and my brother own and run our own landscape company and we've been doing water features also have learned so so much from your videos and our CAC at pondscapes in ohio id love to become certified and maybe one day get to come help out operating on a job like this also we only use aquascape products their the best!!!
i live in chattanooga!
Why not incorporate some sculpted boulders in the mix? 🤔
i hope all those people got paid and werent just volunteers... i mean its shaq
Just a suggestion...tree trimmers/removers use 'ground protection mats' to protect lawns when moving heavy equipment in place to do their work [the mats act as a bridge to distribute weight avoiding compression marks]. I don't see why you couldn't use those 'mats' to avoid what happened, as well as, over your filtration area. Can't wait to see the finished project - EPIC I'm sure. Cheers...
rig mats
@@ThaGreatestAlexander They'd work too...but they're heavy and not easily placed or manuvered by manpower.
@@ross6343 no you need to place them with the machines moving the rocks
@@ThaGreatestAlexander I know - I've used rig mats in the past. Given the site equipment in the video, the lighter ground mats would've worked as well...even if you had to double them up. But hey...it's an 'either/or' call. Be well.
See what throwing a rubber ball through a hoop can accomplish! Only in America!
That’s not what made shaq rich 🤑
From Georgia. Why couldn’t you use granite? Go chip off some at Stone Mountain
Stones
the guys working there are volunteers…????
He should've just bought a huge fishtank....
What is the total cost for such as large pond with all that rock?
Why not just dig it down with a solid clay liner. I get there was a spring, but you could have done all of this with Clay and Bentonite. Then add the rock. You could've done the clay liner much cheaper. ATL is nothing but clay, and rock.
Water quality
Yeah... I'm gonna be that dude... Gotta ask... What's the cost of this project? Or to be respectful of Shaq's privacy, what is the cost of a commercial project of similar scope?
You'll never get paid for this. Mr. O'Neal has a reputation for never paying
Not true!
Jason from where? 15:54
So Greg keeps referring to this pond a a rec-pond but it’s just a pond and not a swim pond as there are submersible pumps am I missing something I’ve never understood your description of to be that but than you have a beach too so 🤷🏻♂️
I wonder what the $ price tag was on this project.
when placing all the huge rocks why not use a mobile crane? I know its pricey but will save you lots in labour... just curious, love your videos!!
How would a crane save on labor?
@@user-yo2tr8lu6y they wouldn't of had to make a ramp for one of the rocks and wouldn't of had to cut the tarp from soil compacting and redo alot of work
How much? I want same thing in my yard... Same price for me too or do i get the non-celebrity price? 😂 Which is probably 5million dollar off right.
The UK reads it as £1 million not a weight measurement
