hello agian world, I'm Goem, the lesbian girl in this video. add the behind situation of the crew. :9 I was totally obsessed with the converstaion, so I was forgot camera was there. ( also the production team let us keep chatting freely ㅋㅋㅋ. ) most of the topic of converstaion was what we really want to asked to each other. at that time, I learned again that I can also be friends with a completely another person. that experience was not usual thing in korea. after filming, we really went to cafe for coffee.🤭 anyway, I touched by the comments that you guys send to me. It means a alot, and make me feel supported. thanks all!
You're awesome! I loved to hear you grown out of your own preconceived ideas and became more open with time, it's very important to show to people there's always time to evolve and be more open! I wish you happiness, stay safe!
Hello friends! I'm a transgender Yena in the video. This shoot was very interesting and fun. Sharing the experiences of individuals living as queers always gives me courage. Being aware that I'm not alone makes me stronger. Your presence that watched our conversation is also giving me a lot of strength. Thank you. I'll live a better life.
Hi world! I'm HEVIN ;) I don't want you to think and classify differently because you have a certain identity and a certain orientation. The world is created because everyone is different! Not only do you have "what kind of person do you hate" but you also have "not hate someone." Let's live with positive emotions rather than negative ones! thank you for watching!💙
thank you for your words, I've always admired the way you look at the world and I've felt very proud of you ever since you came out, I'm so excited for your new music and everything that will follow in your career!
that's the ones you notice are gay. most homosexual men who mostly associate with other men aren't so open about it because they fear the judgement of the other men
I'd heard that in South Korea there are dance clubs for gay men and ones for lesbians, so I had an idea that queer people over there are more divided than where I live, but this video made me understand it even more. It's crazy to see that LGBT people there don't really have an overall community, it's more like several smaller communities that end up excluding a lot of people. It seems that bi and trans people don't really belong anywhere that way! In my experience, queer people in general tend to flock together, and lots of queer guys become besties with queer girls. In my city, the bars and organizations that are for LGBT people are for all of us. I often go to an LGBT bar that is frequented by a really diverse crowd: all sorts of genders and orientations. It's so sad to hear Yena say trans people don't really have a sense of community in Korea... here lots of trans people are in LGBT spaces. I hope this sort of mentality, of solidarity and inclusion, becomes more spread out and common everywhere. We are stronger together.
When I was in Itaewon, I was looking for a trans-friendly bar but all I could see were MANY "Transgender Bars" in the one street but they were actually more like expensive host clubs. I went to a drag bar called "Trance" and had allot of fun and right next to it is a gay club (gay men) but yes it does seem to be really divided
you can see in the United States this is the focus politically right now, theres alot of effort from homophobes to try and split the overall LGBTQ+ community apart right now, lots of propoganda etc, theres so many gay men online ive interacted with who hate trans women and its extremely scary how misogynist they can still be sometimes
It's not like we hate each other, it's just like dance clubs are where people gather to flirt a lot. There are spaces, pubs and clubs where both can get along so well, but gays and lesbians don't share the exactly same taste for music and conversations to be together all the time.
I hope this too. To me it was shocking too, because in my friend groups and communitys every queer person can enter and stay. I think it is sad if the communitys gatekeep places from each other. We should all be together as queer humans
Listening to what Yena said about when people might regret gender-affirming surgery was really interesting. The data in the US and Europe suggest that only a really tiny percentage of people regret transitioning, and for most of them it's not because they think "I was wrong about my gender", but that they think "society was kinder to me when I was in the closet, and hiding my true self hurt less than the bad treatment I'm now getting". It would be interesting to know more about the situation I'm Korea. If Yena is right, I wonder whether more rigid, binary gender roles might lead more people to mistaking their gender identity, like she spoke about? It's super interesting, and I'm so glad she knows herself and doesn't regret anything 😊
Until just this month there were court guidelines in Korea that prevented people from changing their gender in legal documents unless they underwent sex reassignment surgery (and some other messed up criteria). So there may have been a lot of transgender people who had surgeries they did not want so that they can be the correct gender under law.
really sweet! and great for breaking down stereotypes even within the community!! as a bisexual i really loved the topic of the whole bis vs gays/lesbians i also would agree with some ppl in the comments to change the title to "Do we hate bisexuals?" instead of "reason why we hate bisexuals" - i know its really good for engagement it just sends the exact opposite message of the video
Ive met straights and lesbians that didnt want to date me and it was offensive mainly because they painted me hypersexual. 😂 im 30 and only slept with 5 people. INCLUDING my husband. I really appreciate this discussion from a bi perspective. Like, the world already discriminates so much against the queer community, and then when you're bi you're discriminated against again. It can be so frustrating to feel like you belong nowhere

I hope we can have more videos in the future with diverse orientations, as someone in the a-spec (asexual +aromantic) and nonbinary communities, I'm very interested in the situation of not very known labels in other countries, and how other queer people react to this.
I was really excited about this video, because a gay friend of mine once said being Bisexual isn’t real, you just can't decide, he talked badly about a bisexual acquaintance (his close friend) ... i havn't outed myself to him that i was bisexual... hearing that was crazy ... i havent told him or any of my friends how i think and feel after that... because if he, someone who is part of the community saying that... the others would probably also think like that
Exactly you are sol right when we share about this they don't consider us in their community they think of us differently coz they think we are just confused!! I feel you 😢😢😢

I related hard to Hevin as a fellow bisexual. People see the "bi" as you are always liking multiple people at once, and it's really frustrating having to explain that it's not really the case for most people. They wouldn't say the same about straight, gay, or lesbians, so why assume bi are any different? There are polyamorous people, but they can be of any gender and orientation.
There are definitely similarities with the way the community works in the US, but also some differences I think. Since the US is so large, it really depends on where you are. For example where I live, most queer people stick together because it's such a conservative area and there aren't many of us. In larger cities it can be more cliquey. But some of the stereotypes are everywhere (like lesbians only dating "gold star" lesbians).
Yes, it's sad that in this world the standards for what is feminine and what is a woman is decided by the patriarchy. What women believe about ourselves isn't even considered. Women who dress in a more masculine way, particularly lesbians, are also victims of intense misogyny for this reason; for not conforming to men's ideal of a woman. Sorry this is in English, I hope to learn Korean in the future.
Of course bisexual women often date men, there are far more straight and bisexual men than there are queer women. I always get depressed on dating apps because for every 100 guys who like my profile there's only 5-10 women who do. It makes it really difficult and frustrating because honestly, I would rather date women but men are so much easier to find.
I loved to hear from the same community, as a lesbian I enjoyed hearing everyone’s opinions about different things, things I’ve been also curious about.
Yena's talk around 8:30 is so important because even though it seems like she's only actually talking about veeeery specific transmen and transwomen (i don't know if the statistic for people regretting for that reason is particularly high), the issue she's addressing actually affects EVERYONE in society -- straight, gay, bi, asexual, transgender, whoever! These strong and strict gender roles push us to be insecure about our interests and force us to lie and say we like things we don't, just to be accepted by our community. But the truth is, men and women can be SO MUCH MORE than their stereotypes, and all the trans men and women and the nonbinary/genderless people out there are doing so much work to help us reclaim the ability to be who we are.
I begun the video thinking I’ll be disappointed by the homophobia they face, but instead left even more disappointed. I didn’t expect to see that the LGBTQ community itself is divided and they are still dealing with things like “do gays hate lesbians” and vice versa. Everything they described happens in western countries too, I don’t want to act like we are perfect or to minimize the suffering of ppl who experienced it, but over here, even in Greece, which for those who don’t know, isn’t the most liberal in Europe, if someone’s from the lgbt community tells you “yeah I hate that entire part of the lgbt community”, it’s pretty well accepted that that person is wrong and most ppl would call them out, or personally disassociate themselves from them. I feel like what the guy said abt a lot of his gay friends saying “they just don’t like women” is completely mysogonistic and stems from internalized misogyny. Don’t forget, gay ppl can be too. It’s really sad to see. And for the transgender lady, to see there’s no community to support her. To hear that some ppl get confused that they are trans bcz they just like things typically associated with the opposite gender is crazy to me, I haven’t heard anything similar over here. In general the conservative nature of Korea showed itself here, even inside the LGBTQ community. I guess it makes sense since they just started to form and gain voice in the public sphere and are still fighting for acceptance. I hope this gets better with the coming years 🤍
I'm glad they did this video, because LGBT+ people exist in every part of the world, but in some places sadly they're not acceptable in society so they hide or just don't say they're part of the community mostly for the prejudice. Good video.
so bisexuals all around the world go through the same experiences 😭, i see bi discourse all the time from other queer people saying we only like men or we play around with women but i hate cheaters and as a woman i have only dated a woman... it's sad but ig we have a terrible reputation
it's so silly when you actually think about it. people think a bi person is x2 sexually charged, but really they're just one regular person. a lesbian or a straight man can have 1 girlfriend and not cheat on every single pretty girl they meet, or a gay man or a straight woman can have 1 boyfriend and not cheat on every single handsome guy they meet, then a bi person can do the same thing. the undeserved jealousy and mistrust that bi people have to deal with despite doing nothing wrong is soooo stupid.
I really enjoyed this and felt really supported. It's great to see all those people share their experiences, as a queer person i feel very supported, belonged and happy in general! Thank you! And all of you, love yourselves no matter what! Again thank you and have a nice lives!
Being a bisexual i can say that most of us want to date Girls bcz we want to fut in norm society, but our heart and desires are mostly strong towards same sex ❤
I think that really varies from person to person. I'm bi and people usually think I'm a woman (I'm actually nonbinary), and at 31 years old I've only been with women and nonbinary people, never with a man. I'm attracted to some men, but can't imagine myself having a relationship with one (it could happen tho! just more unlikely than with women and nonbinary people)
GIGGLE please invite Fromis9 as guest next to interview Them and plus I wanna see Hevin and fromis9 together again it’s been awhile since I saw them together
Hello everyone. I'm a Gay as same as the man in this video, too. Well, I want to share to guys my emotions when I am a Gay bottom . You know, Gay really so difficult to find a true love, me too. The privilege they have that they absolutely refuse to acknowledge, how some of the worst homophobic hate crimes were committed by them (like the Pulse night club sh00ting for example), how they've greatly contributed to the modern day misogyny women face today (for instance, the incel movement created by a bisexual), how so many bisexuals just use lesbians for s3x or as an experiment then go back to their boyfriends, how no one can ever say anything critical about them without being labeled as "biphobic", how they're the reason gold star lesbians are hated, how they're the cause of the massive level lesbophobia that is SO normalised and so much more Bisexuals are far from "cool"
We are all under the same umbrella ☂️ For each one, gay, lesbian, bisexual the discussion is on a person sexual orientation whereas for trans people it’s gender dysphoria. Because trans people can still identify as heterosexual/homosexual or bisexual. ❤❤❤ so I feel as though sometime trans people find themselves as an outcast from the community because they identify as a heterosexual.
I think it is really interesting for me as a Germany to see how the community is in Korea. For me it was "shocking" how separate the communitys are, because for me and in the groups I am we are all different queer people together. Really interesting.
It seems that the stigma that bi = cheater is in many cultures. Sorry, we can't help who we are attracted to. Give us a chance... I really related to this.
imo, it is a difference if i say : i hate gays (as a lesbian) - - OR - - if i say - "i dislike men in general as a lesbian" (big big difference how i build a sentence and even if i say it loud, how it sounds) isnt it? so maybe it is sometimes a "tiny missunderstanding" build up there - between the ppl - when it comes to gays+lesbians(??) its just a thought, i had after hearing them talking... (bcos - even if no one must say it loud, and everyone should understand - that a gay person wont go for a girl in general + a lesbian person wont go for a man in general.) bcos that is somehow and anyway clear - isnt it? :) PS: love to see chankyu sweetie here involved again.. :)
I'm straight and I already have a hard time understanding why people can't understand someone with a different sexual orientation, but hearing that it happens betwin those different communities is wild to me. The exemple of bisexual being cheaters, I don't get it, that doesn't mean they fall in love with every people they meet, no more than a straight, gay or anyone else. People need to see this kind of videos.

Oh this is both my second liker and my second Oh I'm both the second liker and the second reviewer, this MARVELOUS✨💖💗

When you do find a queer woman a lot wont date bisexuals anyway lol
what a gorgeous group of people!
Yo goem the lesbian representative is so fine 😂❤
I loved to hear from the same community, as a lesbian I enjoyed hearing everyone’s opinions about different things, things I’ve been also curious about.
Love and support from gay man from Paris France🇨🇵❤ it is hard for lgbtq in SKorea. You are all inspiring !!
I hope this gets better with the coming years 🤍
I love videos whit Changyu he is so cute ❤❤❤🇧🇷
the random gifs are killing me 😭😭😭
Ooo god changyu personality the way he talks 😊😊😊❤❤
Omg not that one person spamming bible verses lol
As a Straight person this conversation touched my heart I love my LGBTQ brothers and sisters GOD bless you all🙏❤
I'm glad they did this video, because LGBT+ people exist in every part of the world, but in some places sadly they're not acceptable in society so they hide or just don't say they're part of the community mostly for the prejudice. Good video.
so bisexuals all around the world go through the same experiences 😭, i see bi discourse all the time from other queer people saying we only like men or we play around with women but i hate cheaters and as a woman i have only dated a woman... it's sad but ig we have a terrible reputation
it's so silly when you actually think about it. people think a bi person is x2 sexually charged, but really they're just one regular person.
a lesbian or a straight man can have 1 girlfriend and not cheat on every single pretty girl they meet, or a gay man or a straight woman can have 1 boyfriend and not cheat on every single handsome guy they meet, then a bi person can do the same thing.
the undeserved jealousy and mistrust that bi people have to deal with despite doing nothing wrong is soooo stupid.
I thought Yena was in her early 30s the latest!
I really enjoyed this and felt really supported. It's great to see all those people share their experiences, as a queer person i feel very supported, belonged and happy in general! Thank you! And all of you, love yourselves no matter what! Again thank you and have a nice lives!
Chan gyu is so adorable, I am in love with him 😍
Being a bisexual i can say that most of us want to date Girls bcz we want to fut in norm society, but our heart and desires are mostly strong towards same sex ❤
I think that really varies from person to person. I'm bi and people usually think I'm a woman (I'm actually nonbinary), and at 31 years old I've only been with women and nonbinary people, never with a man. I'm attracted to some men, but can't imagine myself having a relationship with one (it could happen tho! just more unlikely than with women and nonbinary people)
Yes, pets all just ignore the fact that bisexuals constantly cheat and use lesbians for s3x and then run back to their boyfriends
You may want to look up "compulsory heterosexuality."
No???? That's not how it works.
that’s more of an individual thing
@GIGGLE we need a part 2!! This was so cute and wonderful to see these amazing people in the community! 🏳🌈💛🧡❤💙💚💜

Bisexual men catching strays from everyone is common. What it be.
I just hope you stay happy no matter what you guys all the love to you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The privilege they have that they absolutely refuse to acknowledge,
how some of the worst homophobic hate crimes were committed by them (like the Pulse night club sh00ting for example),
how they've greatly contributed to the modern day misogyny women face today (for instance, the incel movement created by a bisexual),
how so many bisexuals just use lesbians for s3x or as an experiment then go back to their boyfriends,
how no one can ever say anything critical about them without being labeled as "biphobic",
how they're the reason gold star lesbians are hated,
how they're the cause of the massive level lesbophobia that is SO normalised
and so much more
Bisexuals are far from "cool"
OMG This guy is so cute❤
We are all under the same umbrella ☂️ For each one, gay, lesbian, bisexual the discussion is on a person sexual orientation whereas for trans people it’s gender dysphoria. Because trans people can still identify as heterosexual/homosexual or bisexual. ❤❤❤ so I feel as though sometime trans people find themselves as an outcast from the community because they identify as a heterosexual.
We're NOT under the same umbrella. We're COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! Unlike bisexuals, the rest of us aren't selfish and homophobic
@@moowood9818 imagine saying some bs like "we're all queer" and thinking you're not the stupid one🤣

I think it is really interesting for me as a Germany to see how the community is in Korea. For me it was "shocking" how separate the communitys are, because for me and in the groups I am we are all different queer people together. Really interesting.
I’m happy you’re happy! Best sentiment ever ❤
They are so adorable!!

Gosh, Yena is so attractive
It seems that the stigma that bi = cheater is in many cultures. Sorry, we can't help who we are attracted to. Give us a chance... I really related to this.

Yay, fellow bi person
They all seem so sweet🫶💕
imo, it is a difference if i say :
i hate gays (as a lesbian)
- - OR - -
if i say - "i dislike men in general as a lesbian"
(big big difference how i build a sentence and even if i say it loud, how it sounds) isnt it?
so maybe it is sometimes a "tiny missunderstanding" build up there - between the ppl - when it comes to gays+lesbians(??)
its just a thought, i had after hearing them talking... (bcos - even if no one must say it loud, and everyone should understand - that a gay person wont go for a girl in general + a lesbian person wont go for a man in general.)
bcos that is somehow and anyway clear - isnt it? :)
PS: love to see chankyu sweetie here involved again.. :)
Yena: i’m 40 years old
me: you’re 20

I'm straight and I already have a hard time understanding why people can't understand someone with a different sexual orientation, but hearing that it happens betwin those different communities is wild to me. The exemple of bisexual being cheaters, I don't get it, that doesn't mean they fall in love with every people they meet, no more than a straight, gay or anyone else. People need to see this kind of videos.
