you can replicate it consistently by shooting the gun mantle directly below the barrel(the tiny bit that sticks out like a sleeve) it will hit, bounce down and pepper the entire crew through the top of the hull i haven't dealt with panthers any other way since i found that little trick. Primarily worked so far with low pen rounds such as APHE from American 75mm
@@saberleaf3659as far as i know this is the reason why later panthers have a flat mantlet on the lower part, it was to avoid that shot trap. It still isn't the most reliable way to kill them given how unpredictable WT can be with volumetric matters.

2:53 yep thats pretty correct. You cant pen the top part of the tigers side with the 75mm gun, you have to aim lower, below between the tracks and where it juts out, then its pretty much a garuanteed 1 shot. Source: M24 chaffee main and that gun is like an extension of my own limbs lol

to all the german players here is how to fight a jumbo. if your in a panther shoot the upper front plate if your within 300m and you are on flat ground or have a higher elevation then the jumbo and its facing you flat on. for all other German tanks if the jumbo is even slightly angled just shoot its drive wheel and your will pen like 80+% of the time.
I feel like all american tanks wildly swing from powerful to useless depending on an uptier or downtier. for example the 76mm jumbo is a monster in a downtier but in an uptier might as well be paper mache and shooting spitballs.
malzi, just a friendly tip, shoot the "neck" (turret ring) of the t-34 to kill it, with that method ger even ger 50mm can frontaly pen t-34 in a full uptier
i dont know why but many people are shooting at me even when i am angeled so most of them just dont get through if they are not a full uptier or a revenge bomber

What is the difference between jumbo and cobra king? I don’t really see a difference.
After this video Jumbo 75 to 6.7 and Jumbo 76 to 7.3, Tiger I H to 4.3 and E to 5.0, Panther D to 4.7 A to 5.3
I find it a little difficult to play cobra king. The cannon feels too weak against other heavys in its tier
