May NOFX be at the best they have been in a while if not ever? Love Fat Mikes attitude, love what the band is doing now and just want them to keep releasing stuff at this level forever.
I was massively into punk when i was younger in the late nineties early 00's. Only came back to it in recent years and i must say, NoFX is the only band from back then that still exists and i actually really like the recent material of. So yeah, i agree!

The riff and drums at 2:53 is so punchy and energetic and above all hopeful after such a dark tune, it makes me tear up. Kickass and gut-wrenching. NOFX at their best. Love it.

37 years old and I hope this never stops. I grew up with this voice and sound! Greatest band of all time. NOFX is Soo cool and helped save my sex life!
Been a fan since the year 2000 when I was 12. Pump Up the Valuum was my first NOFX record ever that same year. Man such good times. So much great music came out back then.
Smelly fuckin beat my brains ass trying to hear every little tic on fuckin point at 3 billion mph at the fade out, truly a showman & one of if not the best drummer in history. The band as a unit is so so so so tight, they fuckin kill at what they do. Never stop guys please, keep it coming. Im a luthier & a trained guitar tech, hire me!
I love u so much NOFX, you changed my life when I discovered you about 20 years ago. I was 14yo and I was bullied a lot in high school, alway alone and scared. A guy lended me "pump up the valuum" and after listened that music all my life changed. As always this song is amazing! Thanks Mike
NoFX has been my favorite band for around 25 years. I want feeling anything after coasters. Only until recently I’ve started playing their records since then and can’t believe I didn’t think they were good. I guess I just wasn’t ready for mikes maturing side of music since then. All those years wasted not listening to these bangers.
Thanks fat mike. This song put the nail on a coffin. For more than a decade my dream came true turned my biggest heartbreak. Finally over her- this song did it
Every time I think Bad Religion is going to retake the top spot as my favorite band ...NOFX has to come along and spoil it! :) NOFX #1. All time. End of competition. #1 NOFX #2 Bad Religion #3 Rancid
My favorite band of all time! Been a fan forever and a day. What a great song! I literally wrote down over 100 of their songs that I love, not like. I saw them live twice. The last time I saw them they played The Decline, which is one of my personal favorite moments ever because it's my favorite song. Erik Sandin is super underrated! Congrats to Fatty on his sobriety! I sure hope they make that 40 year mark!
I was a bit dissapointed about the record before, because i knew many songs already. But i was wrong. They fit so fucking perfect. This Album is fucking awesome. It needed some listens. Sure the slow songs sound a bit strange and are different, but hey, that's fucking punk. This song is soooo unbelievable awesome ... You can feel Fatty's heartache and pain ... Fat Mike is a unbelievable great songwriter, such a talented guy. What a record ...
Hey Mike this was also fantastic, this new album is clearly rock solid. I don't know if you have noticed the comment sections on these singles, but your real fans love your new work and they have a real appetite to see you perform these songs live, which is a rare feat/treat for a band pushing 40, I hope you are ready to play this whole thing live.
@@coryleblanc I'll be honest, I don't know enough Megadeth to make the comparison, but I'm fairly certain their guitarist on that album had a metal background, so it would make sense.
So weird...I always start new records from the beginning but for some reason I went to this last track to start this record. I'm kind of in a dark place and this track made me feel alive. Thanks Mike, stay up brother. Oh yea, your crew is pretty fucking amazing too
@@danevertt3210 thank you. I was so confused when I read these comments before hearing the song. I was interested in hearing smelly doing blast beats, ha. That said, Smelly did rip on this, it sounded like the drums were being played at 1.25X.
I thought at least one person would notice that we play a C Sharp minor when I sing We were tied down with minor chords as we set sail into the dark and sharpest C
Most of NOFX songs sound minor, even the major ones ( i.e. linoleum that I think is basically in E major mode ); voice melody and lead guitar, I think, determine the overall mood of a song; I really appreciate it! I really appreciate also the key of C# minor!
Holy shit, my gf and I broke up two days ago and this song drops the next day. Thank you Mr Burkett, I'm right there with you. Just keep sailing Mike, you'll find safe harbor
Ok... this is really really good. I can really connect to this song. Don’t ever stop making awesome music. And come down to Miami when you have a chance. I know this city kind of sucks, But I can show you some awesome people and good spots m
This is one of the best punk rock songs ever written. At 20+ years completely immersed in the genre (and I mean dedicated), very few songs have hit me like this one. It rips, the melody is unique, the chords are familiar but somehow fresh and the lyrics are amazing. Haunting song, too. Anyways, just one man's opinion.
Me and my ex wife split 5 years ago, the feels bro. Wish I could come see you guys off on your final tour, sadly don't think I can make it. Thanks for the memories my dudes...
This songs lyrics are so personal for me right now. I quit heroin and crack over two years ago but can’t quit the toxic f***** up relationship I keep getting sucked back into.
Such a beautiful song. Fat Mike is truly gifted. Incredible that a self proclaimed fat drunk punk rocker was and is capable of writing such meaningful songs. Not only that, he was capable of being the face and frontman of one of the greatest punk rock bands for decades. NOFX will be missed for sure, but they've been around long enough. I think they definitely deserve to retire, even so, their legacy and their music will live on.
The tempo is mental, Smelly is a machine.

Amazing song, nofx is the perfect example of sound refining, and not throw away the sound of the past to be more mainstream like afi or the offspring
That riff sounds like it could have come straight off of "Ribbed". Great song reminiscent of old school NOFX
