One of my favorite bands of all time, but sadly I am glad they are ending this. Gotta know when to hang it up, and after hearing this album, yes its time.
Man please don't tell me this is their last studio album. I know they're not touring after this last one - but will they still record? Album ends with The Last Drag.... damn. Solid album btw. Short but sweet.
It's strange for older musicians because a lot of them assumed by the stage in their career they would stop touring and just do records. But the economics of the industry is such that making records is not really profitable as much as touring and selling merch. Ween is basically completely abandoned making records and still tours a fair amount. But they had explicitly stated, that by this point in their career they had hoped they would be touring less and just recording. @@nicocrinkleburg
The single/double/half album has been one long recording session somewhere 2019/early 2020 from songs on 7" inch club 2019. Mike told a few years ago that during the pandemic era 2020/2021 he wrote about 60 songs for NOFX because he was in long and good creative mood. I'm sure they wont end NOFX with a sad song like The Last Drag. Who knows with 60 songs on the shelf, they will release a real double album 🙂

The motivation behind this statement is cunt like. It's like you're hoping the band will see it and think your opinion should dictate their future decisions. This is the kind of vibe that killed the scene and made going to shows suck so bad that the legacy bands are starting to play underground shows, because of the poser nerds who chose punk when it became acceptable enough. Now you think you have shit to say? Delusions.
@scottmeasley5522 done touring. Not releasing music as a whole. Their just tired of touring but have stated their open to creating more stuff. Plus so many side projects, they'll all still be around.
NOFX! Best band to listen to when you're in rut or going through hard times

The few recent interviews with Mike (regarding “the last tour”) he left the door open for making music, it’s just the touring part he’s done with.
