This a before and after video, of how I brought life back to one our Texas made classics. 1972 Glastron, to b exact. This was a cool project I enjoyed doing it.
FANTASTIC work..really is! Thanks for the idea about replacing the seats; I too have a 1976 15.6' Runabout and I'm planning on a total restoration/refurbishment. You clearly have mad skills and the confidence to go with it - great vid and motivation! I'll bet that ride catches a lot of eyes out on the water. Bravo!
Thanks for watching...I appreciate the nice comments... I actually sold it.. Eveybody wanted to buy it hard to say no to good offers.. On to the next project...
Hey bro !! Fantastic job !! I also have a Glastron that I've had sitting for a few years..😞..its a fish n ski..but has an I/O 165 merccruiser.. U might have just inspired to possibly make it shine !! I said possibly..lol..I haven't taken my kayaks out since Harvey..still messy out here..take care..tayl..
The white stripe on the side really looks great. Gives it a modern look without detracting from the classic design. Great work all around. What paint did you use?
This may be an odd question but I just bought one of these and am still learning about it. Assuming you have manual trim which position do you typically keep the pin on?
Yeah man thats dope work you did. I got the same boat and about to try my best to make it stand out on the water as well💯
