Take away the Nautilus & Aquanaut designs from the patek catalog and they don't have a distinct design DNA. Thierry Stern said he wants to breakaway from the brand being too synonymous with the Nautilus, however he has no convincing alternative. These watches do not speak to the next generation of collectors. If I was in the budget to be able to afford a Patek, I would prefer their German rival or go independent.
