Interesting. I was just out at Jordan Craters in south eastern Oregon for a SAR mission and I was positive that the inspiration for Obskura came from the coloring of the sage brush and dark browns of the veins of lava rock on the side of a butte out there. Looks virtually identical. Even took a picture of it to compare after the mission.
Would really like to see some more clothing lineups with this pattern. From my perspective as a hunter in the Appalachians, Highlander works great from november to march, but once spring begins, it starts to stick out amongst the greenery. I'm interested in this pattern for spring through early fall, but I don't see it offered in some of your tougher clothing items like the stalker pants, combat field shirt, or the tactical 2 pants. While I like the heat regulating properties of some of the lighter weight pants you offer, such as the valhalla line, I would be hesitant to bust through briars and thorns with it. Just a simple poly/cotton ripstop pant and top in this pattern would be great, and I think yall could turn a good profit from it.
@@kryptekoutdoors I'd like this question answered thoroughly as soon as possible please! What kind/type of Grey is on Kryptek Highlander: Dark Grey, the more Foliage Light Grey or both?
My Krypec Nomad ball cap has been really good for me during hunting season, being just the right amont of brown and tan. I'd buy a whole suit, but the price is prohibitive.Maybe if you had a pullover suit, like the Russian KZS (really effective during spring turkey season, BTW), just keeping it light weight and simple, we poors will be able to partake.
This and altitude is by far your best 2. Being completely honest this, altitude, ob overwhite pattern, and kuiu Verde and valo are head and shoulders above everything else on the market. Including quality of clothing. Both are a little high priced for every day Joe's but amazingly well done. The one thing that would be nice is to have cheap, light colored, mesh back hat for yard and farm work to absorb sweat in sweat and be comfortable all day. You get one at tractor supply and it's no longer comfortable after a month of hard use. I got a wrath hat that I use but it's not mesh back to get air flow. I know it's not what you do but ua hats are wonky and never fit or look right, almost like an 8yr old stitched them up. Well maybe they did. Haha
I absolutely love the Highlander camo. In Arizona and desert hunting people can't tell I'm in the area of I hide. It's amazing!
I love the story and explanation behind the pattern. This would be an awesome company to work for.
Awesome camo! wouldn't expect anything else from Kryptek!
